There you have it. Jordan magically qualifies 4 boxers (so far). Between 1988-2016 they had 5 boxers combined. :p

And who did their boxers face? American Samoa, Samoa, Samoa, Tajikistan... But I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence.

Wow talk about only presenting part of the facts  you are  presenting just the easy fights and ignoring the difficult fights  they also had fights against KOR,

UZB, JAP, AUS, THAI ... The TJK boxer by the way was the Asian championship winner  so that was not easy fight as well...... The SAM ah tong had defeated the IRI in the first round so a decent boxer too.....

All the bouts were fairly judged as far as I could see....there was none of the clear cheating

... Also JOR did win 2 medals in the last Asian championship.... So not an incredibly huge leap to qualify 4 .... Crowd energy does help a bit......

But none of that horrible AIBA judging for sure this time. . .. The draws were fair as well....... Take obadeh of JOR... His first fight was against the Asian Games bronze JAP, then the TJK Asian champion.... No way is that an easy draw....  You can watch the bouts they were fairly judged

5 - :UZB :CHN

4 - :AUS :JOR

2 - :TPE :THA

1 - :JPN :KOR :MGL :NZL :PHI

5 other countries could join them. India still has a chance of 4 more. New Zealand is the only country left who can't add to their current total

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.

    • I don't think he'll mind too much
    • But his time isn`t valid at track record.
    • Vladimir Semirunniy dropped a 12:28 in the 10000m B division, which qualifies him for the Olympics as the fastest time this season (with the big asterisk that it was done in a quad start). Must be a real relief for the Polish team given he isn't looking likely to qualify for the 10000m (or the 5000m) by ranking.   Really problematic that they rank pair start and quad start times together, but whatever.   Also, the Wikipedia page for qualification is updated through the second day.
