Sagan to miss Flandria and Roubaix this year, as to make his Giro debut. :yikes: Time for the Tour-Giro points double! :cool:

Not very surprising anymore, that was expected for a while :p (not very surprising that rumours are going around his decision was helped along a little by, let's say, a little financial help from RCS :d )

RCS does not exist anymore since 17 November 1993 https://www.allacronyms.com/RCS/Representation_of_Czechs_and_Slovaks  :finger:

The Czechoslovakia national football team (Czech: Československá fotbalová reprezentace, Slovak: Československé národné futbalové mužstvo) was the national association football team of Czechoslovakia from 1920 to 1992. The team was controlled by the Czechoslovak Football Association, and the team qualified for eight World Cups and three European Championships. It had two runner-up finishes in World Cups, in 1934 and 1962, and won the European Championship in the 1976 tournament.

At the time of the dissolution of Czechoslovakia at the end of 1992, the team was participating in UEFA qualifying Group 4 for the 1994 World Cup;

it completed this campaign under the name Representation of Czechs and Slovaks (RCS),

Czech: Zastoupení Čechů a Slováků, Slovak: Zastúpenie Čechov a Slovákov) before it was disbanded. The present-day Czech Republic national football team is recognized as the successor of the Czechoslovakia team.[1][2] The country of Slovakia is represented by the Slovak national team.

As opposed to... Not televising the national championships at all? :p

As opposed to...televising it without going pay-per-view, trying to make it seem like a heavyweight world title fight in boxing. I know quite a lot of cycling fans in the Netherlands were definitely going to watch, because it's the first real race in a long time, but now they (we) will probably do so in...let's say, another way :d

@justony Any idea if Sunday's Slovenian championship will be shown anywhere?

Yes, but only pay per view.

On:

This link

 for 5 euros, and also on local TV station (Tržič TV), which is not quite accesible even in our country.

Sorry, I haven't read, that you already know for payed view.

This is also in my opinion stupid decision, firstly because there is not quite often a chance to see Roglič and Pogačar ride on same race in homeland, and secondly, if I am not mistaken, this will be first post-corona national championships, therefore a bit more attention has been given.

Next Sunday there is going to be another battle between Rogla and Pogi: mountain time trial, with finish in biathlon stadium Rudno Polje (Pokljuka), 15 km - 711m altitude.
