So the Portuguese delegation has also arrived to the Olympic Village! 

 

 

 

They are happy with the location, but - just like every other nation I think - were a bit chocked with the conditions they faced there: dirty apartments, some of them with no water or gas problems, and with plumbing problems.... 

 

They also say, however, that the situation has been reported and they're told that it will be fixed soon

Thankfully, most problems are being solved quickly - the australian chef de mission changed the tone today and said everything should be ready by tomorrow in their building (the one that have faced most problems). I expect the same for other rooms that have presented problems.

I'm going to Rio only on Saturday, August 6th - it will be very early in the day and I have some sports sessions planned already. Like most of you guys, I will watch the ceremony in the TV. Wish I could go before this, but the good thing is that I will only return home when the whole thing is over
