Well, if there was no advantage on the altitude, then surely you would also consider those times 'worthy'?

Oh well, ever since they fucked the omnium over I don't care that much anymore anyway. It badly needs to get back at the very least one sprint event, but two would be better.

If altitude had no advantage, sure, they'd be more 'worthy', since 4:05 at sea level is simply better than 4:05 at altitude. Much like Nicholas Paul's sprint qualifying WR is kind of bullshit.

I think you mean getting back timing events because elimination race of Omnium involves sprinting. Van Schip likes it right now.

I like the elimination race, but when the omnium consists of four events, all of which are endurance events...meh. Nothing wrong with having the flying lap and/or kilometer in there.

I strongly agree, and with the tempo race being a short version of the points race you don't get that much versatility

      It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.

      Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
