Besides, if it was indeed a retake, it'd have been 2-1 after five shoot-outs, meaning it would be over and China would be celebrating instead of waiting for the next Belgian attempt

Korea women will miss the olympic games for the first time since 1984. 

 

A pity considering it was agreed recently that they would present an unified team with N. Korea in this sport for Tokyo.

 

Still, they have a small hope to qualify if South Africa withdraws and all the higher ranked teams win their play-offs.
