I watched that in TV, that's reason I didn't comment this show yet. I thought that it will be something better, something similar to Eurovision Home Concerts which are available in YT, not just few seconds of each song

At least it's officialy that Rotterdam and EBU have a chance to make a better show in next year, they just confirmed that the next year contest will still happen in Dutch city. See you!

Germany made a mini-show and had the people vote for their favourite entry. Lithuania won in front of Iceland. :p

Iceland won the swedish voting this thursday :d

And I heard GB voted Abba- Waterloo (1974) as the best ESC song ever. Did more countries have inofficial votings?

They should have made yesterdays show an official competition but with music videos or performances from local studios.

That’s what I don’t understand. There could have easily been a modified Eurovision held this year.

It would be pretty weird if the show was moved somewhere else, so I don't think there was much doubt about that :p Good that it's confirmed

Option A: official competition, but with music videos or performances from local studios

Option B: some filler shows now, but the real deal - with a full-blown competition when possible of course - next year

Option B sounds infinitely better (and way more fair) for every single person involved, from fans to singers and hosts. I am very happy they didn't go for A, that'd have been so boring.

    • Something you do not see often Kutaisi intentionally tried to not win a match twice in regular time and 2 following extra times and in all 3 times failed   They were supposed to win by 7 points at least to keep their chance to qualify in Eurocup competition alive, so when they could win by 2 they decided to not   That was hilarious I recommend to watch both the ends of 4 quarter and both Extra times

    • it's not difficult when you have such a strict policy to enter or leave the country. Or when you have a dictator that can mask number as he wish, if he can convince their people that a highly censored and restrictive land can host a competition like the Olympic Games, i'm sure he can convince no covid case was detected.   One fun fact is that their guards and border control officers were very serious and strict with people from other nationalities when entering the country, but with us it was very different, they would look at our passport with serious face, look at the country, look at us, start smiling and say "Portugal?? Cristiano Ronaldo!!!!"   This behaviour happened in every single checkpoint in every single Central Asia land. It's like a vip pass in this area of the world

    • After four weekends of winter sports, we are slowly entering the middle of the winter season . And, as usual, it's time for statistics that I don't know which theared to put in      After 29 events, 20 different NOCs was already on the podium. After several seasons, Uzbekistan is also back on the podium thanks to figure skating (and two former Russians).   This weekend will be all about ice sports, with a total of 13 events: 4 in figure skating (first stage in Europe) and 9 in short track (second stage in Montreal, since SLC was cancelled)
