Interesting that the Ultimate Frisbee has its own graphics package as well as adverts

Olympic Channel is picking up Ultiworld’s stream. ISB is only producing semifinals/medal matches.

:CAN eviscerates :USA in the men’s lacrosse final. A real “World Cup 2014” moment for the hometown fans.

It did draw the largest crowd by far out of all the sports I’ve been to.

Team :SVK Day 5 Results

Tuesday 12th

PARACHUTING:

Canopy Piloting M

9. Roman Dubský

A very long 4 day competition finaly ended yesterday with the last 2 stages. In which he confirmed his current 9th position. From the 4 disciplines he clearly dominated in the Accuracy, being the best of all, unfortunately the Canopy Piloting consist of 4 different events, especially the Freestyle was his biggest weakness.

In overall he finished at 9th place with a total of 148 points.

These guys gave me a great laugh last night. They were let on to the field for the medal ceremony. Some great photos.

Also, there was an American fan heckling Canada, so the German lacrosse team got behind them and started heckling the Americans. It was a rowdy and fun final.

Watching winter Olympics and now world games must say Ice Hockey or Inline Hockey both are one of the most boring sports on earth I have watched lol . Inline is still slower but both the sports just don't offer a great variety of game.

Even lacrosse is much more fun to watch than these

    • It's an interesting question, Norway is certainly expanding their efforts into a number of new sports. So, that cannot help but to peal off a few more natural athletes. I know their training methods are kinda rocking the world in a number of summer endurance sports.  I can't really speak to they dynamics of their development program. Their men's nordic programs largely always seem to be ridiculously deep, overwhelmingly so the last decade or so.
    • There is an Italian roster listed on elite prospects despite no official roster announcement yet. However many people on the hfboards forum are questioning its legitimacy as there are many questionable players on the roster

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
