For those of us who loved Ski Orienteering at the 2019 Winter Universiade I have good news. Ski Orienteering was officially added to the 2021 Winter Universiade sports program yesterday!

They called it "Wuli" after a public vote. Which is funny for me because in Chinese it can mean 'unreasonable' or 'irrational'.

In the Swis-German dialect, anything with -li at the end is the diminutive form.  I have no idea what Wu is but I bet that is where they are headed with the name.  Something small.

So far 57 NUSFs have registered for Lucerne 2021. More can still register, but I’m not that optimistic.

At least you can count Brazil in. Universiade and the world championships are @brunamoura's main focus for next season.
