finally a good result for Italy also in Kumite...because so far we only had a disappointig outing by Semeraro (she lost against her nemesis Agier in the semis of the women's -68kg) and some shameful outings by all the other athletes (especially Ferracuti in the women's +68kg, who couldn't even get to round #2)...

so, only our top 2 guys Crescenzo and Busà (and the obvious women's Kata specialist Viviana Bottaro) could make it through to the gold medal match...

and a couple of guys reaching the "small final"...

definitely, not the brightest performance at the European Champs for our team...basically, just an ordinary day at the office...

however, only Turkey have more finalists than Italy after day #1...4 against 3, with France and Spain also stuck at 3 gold medal contenders each...

no Countries have 2, meanwhile there are 11 with 1...

    • From a quick look it appears that all the players in the Filipino men's and women's teams are all based in Switzerland and are Swiss-Filipino dual citizens.
    • That is absolutely certain. Any somewhat reasonable politician should be good enough to win against someone like Trump, even with the unfortunate timing (for the Democrats) of having to carry the brunt of the COVID pandemic consequences and so any Republic having a bit of a head start anyway.   But yeah, dreadful performance overall from Harris, who seemed to start quite positively, but then just lowered herself to Trump's level in terms of throwing shit at each other. That was a terribly dumb choice, nobody is going to beat Trump at the insult game, as we have seen.

    • It was never a priority to stop the war but to prolong it to offload the old weapons systems and keep Russia occupied in a conflict. But the West's strategy backfired as it pushed Russia to friendship with China. Many don't realize as Russia and China are actually adversaries even when they shared a common ideology during the Soviet era
