Here is the qualification manual (website has a Spanish version) for the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games if any one is interested.

Some events will act as qualifiers to the 2019 Pan American Games.

African youth games 2018 , 27 sports , only 5 are qualifying to Buenos aires : Triathlon, Beach-volley, field Hockey , Equestrian , sailing

Expand

Equestrian is already done Africa's qualifiers are Egypt, Mauritius, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Also sailing is already spoken for in other events.

I didn't know about beach volleyball, that's helpful.

Also the following sports are also listed as giving quotas to the Youth Olympics: archery, rowing and rugby sevens. Athletics is also likely to provide quotas (though not confirmed)

Aviron = rowing. I have no idea why it says equestrian. The FEI has already confirmed all the quotas

Doing a quick look, both archery and rugby sevens don't say it's at the African Youth Games, but both events are in Algiers during the same time period. Also rugby sevens has a TBC so it isn't confirmed yet.

Official video for EYOF 2019 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the biggest events there in newer history

I think curling is also added in program.

Too bad for the Dutch participants, since the Invictus Games is usually seen as a nice free trip to another country :d

Most likely there will be no Brazil at the winter and summer Universiade next year. The government has taken away an absolute shitload of money from the sports ministry to other ministries (not entirely sure which ones), which is causing very, very big problems in Brazilian sports at the moment (at least in the winter sports). CBDN (winter sports federation) can keep running for now, but CBDU (university sports federation) basically has no money to support any kind of team at a Universiade.
