Terrible tornado night in the US last night, with some heavy stuff. The by far worst one hit Mayfield, Kentucky, with dozens and dozens of deaths already...

 

Images on social media speak for themselves, the whole town has been either damaged or utterly flattened...

Btw today I learned there a city called Slovak in the USA, Arkansas

 

 

Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri & Tennessee hit by deadly tornadoes. #Slovakia 🇸🇰 follows closely development & sends condolences to all hard struck families & 🇺🇸communities that many claim ancestry in Slovakia. I hope town Slovak, #Arkansas is doing well.

We’ve had some smaller tsunami waves in some of the coastal communities here in California, but there’s some worrying videos making their way out of Tonga.

Shockwave after this eruption was noticed in Poland by higher atmospheric pressure which jumped about 5 just in 10 minutes

we have a time traveler in Slovakia !

I just looked on our meteo site to read about today´s new temperature historic record in Slovakia. At noon today we had +40,5 °C in one village near Hungarian borders.

 

However the news about this came the 23rd July 2022 at 15:37 !!! Holy mother of Jesus ! Today we are the 22nd July ! Do you realize what happened ?

I wasn't much enjoying the 38-40 degrees earlier this week though, you are now having what we had some days ago  

 

You know, those days when at midnight it's still 30 degrees everywhere and at 05.00-06.00 the following morning, the coldest time of day, it's still 25-26. Ugh. Good luck sleeping in an upstairs bedroom right under the roof

Already 38 here now with literally 0 wind. The air is not moving at all...
