This Russian domination of Nordic skiing events is quite amazing, though it kills the competition.

I’m watching the men’s 20km Individual from yesterday, and there’s a Polish Athlete in contention. The athlete then breaks his pole, and all the coaches of other nations race to get him a pole. Safe to say the Russians are the enemy :p

I love seeing dynasties or just utter dominance in sport but this is quite annoying.

      Wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time. The men's 500m has basically on or with luck two medal chances, but certainly not three (semi-realistic) ones. With Beau Snellink for now not exactly on his way to an Olympic ticket and Patrick Roest still questionable, that might only leave Chris Huizinga, Jorrit Bergsma and Marcel Bosker, and that is not exactly a group one would want to have in the team pursuit.
