Important Olympic qualification Season upcoming, so obviously everyones physical preparation begins.

 

the whole SVK National team is not a exception, our Kayak National Team started to work on the physical conditions, setting a special Training camp..that ended mainly of using shovels

The Full 2019 SVK National Kayak Team will be composed of Erik Vlček, Juraj Tarr, Adam Botek, Gábor Jakubík, Samuel Baláž, Denis Myšák, Csaba Zalka, Tibor Linka, Peter Gelle, Ivana Mládková (known before by her maiden name: Kmeťová), Mariana Petrušová and former Hungarian Ákos Gacsal who since this season will officially compete for Slovakia

Gold and Silver in todays morning finals session at the U23 and Juniors European Champs for

 

Mariana Petrušová (the surprising european games 5000m bronze medalist) won gold in W U23 K1-1000m ahead of Anna Zagorska by 1.285 sec. and Carol Schmidt of  

 

and the pair Samuel Baláž/Adam Botek finished in silver positon in K2-1000m behind crew Bram Sikkens/Artuur Peters, Bronze for Stanislav Daineka/Vladislav Litvinov

U23 K4-500 lost to Belarus by 0.052

so our team return from with 5 medals (all from U23 category) 1 Gold and 4 Silvers lol

 

Last 2 silvers in M U23 K4-500m crew (Samuel Baláž/Matúš Jeinák/Csaba Zalka/Adam Botek) as mentioned above losing as reigning champions the gold by some 0.05 second to Belarus. and Gabriela Ladičová winning her 2nd silver in Račice this weekend after the W U23 C1-500 she took the silver also in todays W U23 C1-200m
