I wish we had trials a year early and let the teams properly plan their seasons and prepare for the Olympics

 

Making them play the tournament of their lives, then pour whats left on a plane headed halfway around the world to play for medals hasn’t been working well lately

 

I guess at least they’re doing it that way for doubles now

Women’s curling final at the Olympics conflicts with the men’s hockey final and Canada has strong chances in both… seriously IOC?

I kind of expect them to move the women's gold medal curling game back an hour or so. The morning session is at 9am, why put this game at 11?

I hope they find a way to schedule the gold medal hockey game later. If the final is Canada/USA, then it will start at the unfriendly hours of 4am PST/7am EST

Historically they seem to like to schedule the hockey final for 1pm local on the last day (2010, and 2018 had it at 1pm, and 2022 was noon) as the last event... but for 2014 it looks like they played it at 4pm local

 

Closing Ceremony always goes at 8pm. So 4pm is probably as late as they'd consider

Team Jacobs defeat Team Dunstone 5-3 at this years Brier final and will represent us at this years World Championships!
