heywoodu 14,391 Posted April 3, 2022 #11 Share Posted April 3, 2022 23 of the 24 MotoGP riders have won at least one Grand Prix (MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3/250cc/125cc), all of them except for Aleix Espargaro. Today he had his 200th MotoGP race, his 283rd Grand Prix overall....and finally he got it today in Argentina! Also the first ever Grand Prix win for Aprilia, finally! If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Monzanator 4,181 Posted April 3, 2022 #12 Share Posted April 3, 2022 Somkiat Chantra won the Moto2 race in Indonesia two weeks ago so the Asian Talent Cup has something to be proud of. He finished 2nd in Rio Hondo today. Aleix Espargaro won the MotoGP race - his first win in all of Grand Prix racing in 284th race! Also first premier class win for Aprilia ever. Doesn't look like anyone saw that coming at all, damn. Leading the team standings isn't enough, I guess.. Monzanator 4,181 Posted June 5, 2022 #17 Share Posted June 5, 2022 Well, it's been almost 8 years since Alex Rins celebrated a victory in Brno too early so we were due another maths error
Federer91 2,565 Posted August 7, 2022 #18 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Zarco crashes from first position in the British GP, after a comfortable performance so far. On other hand Rins is doing a fantastic job to get to the top after starting 11th. Monzanator
Federer91 2,565 Posted August 7, 2022 #19 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Damn, what an exciting end of a race once again Ducati with a win and double podium on Silverstone of all places But it almost wasn't to be, as Vinales turned back the clock and has a second podium in-a-row. It's so bizarre watching Vinales fight for the wins, after seeing him battling for 14-15th spots in the first 10 rounds. I don't know what kind of magic they have done on the Aprilia, or if he has found his mojo, but these last 2 rounds have been a completely different story. 4th win for Pecco and he closes the gap in the standings. Imagine, if he saved some of those moronic falls in the previous starts, he could have been level with Quartararo. Nothing clear yet though. And Bastiannini making a brilliant climb on the last quarter of the race as per usual. His ability to sustain the tires is like no other currently. Just pick him Dukati, i want him in a team with Pecco.
Monzanator 4,181 Posted August 28, 2022 #20 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Bagnaia doing his trademark mid-season heroics but once again the first few rounds will cost him a shot at the title IMO. Same old story as in 2021. Meanwhile Ducati has picked Bastianini over Martin for the second works seat in 2023.
