Jakub Gigar (M K1 Tokyo 2020(1)) Silver medalist (perhaps more famous aka the Slovak Canoe Slalom savior at the last olympics) got married last Saturday. Congratulations to the newlyweds and hope you will have a happy life together

After her Seniors European Champion title from last month, Eliška Mintálová became today also the U23 World Champion in W K1 ahead of Emma Vuitton   and Maria Doria Villarubla  

 

It was the 4th Slovak medal in Ivrea (2nd gold) after the M Junior K1 Teams gold, W Juniors K1 Team Silver and W Junior C1 Team Bronze.

I had to look twice if it was a WC or a EC but Crosbee winning his event cleared that up.

At the end 2 more medals for Slovakia at the WJC. Bronze for Emanuela Luknárová in the W U23 C1 behind Elena Borghi and Gabriela Satkova
