OlympicIRL 5,532 Posted May 25, 2016 #556 Share Posted May 25, 2016 Taking a Trip Down Memory Lane: During the Festival of Music of our most recent song contest we celebrated those songs who had the honour of making it into the TISC Hall of Fame. In 9 days time we will add another song to the Hall of Fame, having been crowned the winner of the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2016. But what will become of the runners-up? Often in life, and particularly in sport, you hear people suggesting that no one ever remembers the bridesmaid, or that no one remembers who finishes second. Well you won't hear that kind of talk here on TISC. With this sentiment in mind and as part of the Festival of Music of TISC Annual 2016, I'd like us to celebrate and remember those bridesmaids and recall those very special songs that made it onto the TISC podium. So Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you our bridesmaids, or as we should better say, our TISC medal winners: TISC Open 2013: Silver Medal Winner: Italy Andrea Bocelli - Con Te Partiro - 206 points Bronze Medal Winner: Great Britain John Lennon - Imagine - 178 points TISC Annual 2014: Silver Medal Winner: Slovakia Celeste Buckingham - Crushin' My Fairytale - 167 points Bronze Medal Winner: Denmark Volbeat - Cape of Our Hero - 148 points TISC Open 2014: Silver Medal Winner: Colombia Shakira - Whenever, Wherever - 228 points Bronze Medal Winner: France Indila - Dernière Danse - 194 points TISC Annual 2015: Silver Medal Winner: Great Britain George Ezra - Listen To The Man - 172 points Bronze Medal Winner: France Corson - Raise Me Up (Je Respire Encore) - 153 points TISC Open 2015: Silver Medal Winner: Germany Silbermond - Irgendwas Bleibt - 157 points Bronze Medal Winner: Romania Inna - Amazing- 147 points
