No surprise last night as :FRA beat :POL for the 13th time in a row.

My sister & her husband attended the game. Also present were some Polish football NT players since we play Finland in World Cup quals on the weekend in nearby Chorzów.

Italy also always lost to France and also to Lituania. They are our probably the worse oponents in XXI century.

Italy won last game with France probably on Eurobasket 2003: game for bronze. I don't remember if there was later an official match we won against them after that. Do you remember?

Yes because C1 gives better pairs in knockout phase

For me, if Spain must beat Greece to advance to 1/8 final, they can win. Spain will certainly to be more motivated: Greece can beat anyone in the Round of 16, including France. In the 21st century, Spain has probably never been eliminated in the first group stage.

If earlier Georgia beats Bosnia then Spain qualify, no matter the result against Greece (they will be 4th either they win or not). If only Bosnia beats Georgia then it is a must win for Spain

    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
