These Chinese results are insane  

 

2014: no medal

2018: 1 gold

 

2022 after one and a half days: 6 gold, 4 silver, 6 bronze

And it’s not even because the Russians aren’t there, they are beating the dominant athletes in their events like Oksana Masters and Marie Bochet. 
 

China’s Paralympic programme continues to impress even in sports they have very little pedigree in.

Will China continue this spending and effort in 2026? I would expect so going by their record at the summer games but who knows?

This is the suspicion sadly. Through they wasn’t really any evidence in the able bodied games of suspicious Chinese results when Russia doped both games in 2014.
