yeah, she had a very bad fall...but normally you get away with that with no major injuries...she's very unlucky...hope she gets well soon...

Aščić will contest 26th-30th ranking finals (38-15 pts) for 500 m.

 

I guess it's likely not enough whatever the outcome. :dunno:

How are ties broken?

 

If by the best single result, then Aščić already did enough to overtake Czech Republic on tie-break, what is potentially enough...

 

27th place would overtake Christie, what would surely be enough?

 

EDIT: Apparently the ties are broken by the last result, meaning we win this one over CZE. Still maybe nothing changes as that CZE quota may be coming from the 1500 m. :p

Temporary quotas in short track (assumes nobody loses quotas because of the overall limit):

 

Men's 500m

3 skaters: :HUN:CHN:KAZ:CAN:ROC:NED:KOR

2 skaters: :ITA:FRA:JPN

1 skater: :USA:HKG:LAT:UKR:BEL

 

Men's 1500m

3 skaters: :CHN:ROC:KOR:NED:CAN:HUN:ITA:JPN:USA

2 skaters: :KAZ:FRA:LAT

1 skater: :BEL:ISR:GBR

 

Women's 500m

3 skaters: :ITA:CAN:POL:NED:CHN:KOR:ROC:USA
