Yeah, this was an upgrade for Japan. Or likely just the strategy all along, the short program has more emphasis on PCS, and Shoma Uno is better there.

Finally finished with todays program and I must say that this was probably the poorest M FP competition I saw in the last couple of Olympics, very disappointing level.
