can't wait to see who is the first user saying that China cheated in another judging sport for the gold :raspberry:

Given the anger and controversy Parrot's win over Su in slopestyle caused I really don't see that happening.

I'm kind of annoyed at this controversy.  McMorris laid down the best run of the day, and in the end the medals for countries worked out.  Su missed half the rail section and wasn't clean on his first two jumps.  He landed a massive last jump, but that's like 1/6 of the total score even though it's often the biggest.  Him getting gold would have been a joke given the rest of his run.

I can't believe the snowboard programme is done already.  It feels like it was a bit rushed, especially having both big air finals on the same day.  Good (not great) Games for Canada in snowboard, and lots of exciting competitions from everyone.  Very enjoyable to watch.

:CAN sucks so much at these Olympics that the two best jumps from the nine jumps from out three finalists in this event still wouldn't beat :CHN Su xD

To be brutally honest. Apart from halfpipe I find mens Snowboarding in general very boring. I guess the progression is to just do the most spins. No real flair or realness.

This is all very interesting because many say snowboarding and freestyle are North American sports, but they're actually the most diverse in terms of medal winners.  Much more diverse than the various nordic events.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
