List of notable players missing this tournament:

Australia - Missing their 3 best players: Dwyer, K. Govers and Knowles.

Belgium - Missing Tom Boon.

India - Missing captain Sardar Singh.

Germany - Missing many players: Ruhr, Wellen, Wesley, Butt, Muller, Furste.

Korea I don't have any idea and GB seems to me the only complete squad.

Overall poor level in this champions trophy. GB and Belgium in particular were disappointing. India goes home with positive vibes. Germany didn't care much, Australia usual level despite not playing with the full force.

Tomorrow starts women's competition and it will be more serious, I think all teams are playing with their full squads. Also the 6 teams that play are probably all the teams that can win a medal in Rio, so it should make a good preview.

    • Tomorrow, instead of the traditional mixed relay, a completely new individual race format will be on stage: the socalled 3km knockout sprint, where 3 rounds (heats, semifinals and finals) will be contested to crown the winner   I'm very curious to see what happens, even if this kind of competition imho is completely against the spirit of long distance open water swimming    in other words, bring back the good old 25km races instead of these new fuckin' stupid formats!!!
