Trampoline Gymnastics Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

Recommended Posts

  • 1 year later...

Trying to work out which of the FIG World Cup events listed on their site for 2023 qualify toward Criteria 2 for Trampoline.  The document says there will be 5 events spread across 2023/24, and I can find 2 listed in 2024 on the FIG Calendar.  There are 3 in 2023 that call themselves "FIG World Cup 2023", for Varna, Santarem and Coimbra, but there are another 2 also with a similar label:

World Cup 2023 AGF Trophy - Baku

FIG TRA World CUP - Palm Beach

Do these count as well, or instead of?  Cannot find any other source to give me clarity and I would appreciate any pointers from anyone who knows more.

It's been almost five months since the post above and I'm looking for this answer as well.

The Baku World Cup stage was not a qualifying event. So probably it will be 3 out of the remaining 4.

Only the stages between July and October of this year, will count for the Olympic Rankings. At least, according to our gymnastic federation

Who is this brazilian girl who comes from nowhere and is in the podium in all tourneaments this year :jawdrop:

I wouldn't say that she comes from nowhere haha

But, yeah, it's really impresive her performance lately. She became an actual contender for medal

    • Suspect strongly that the Sultan of  is behind Global Wushu!     Another one is long distance & ultra triathlon.  There are literally millions being paid out in prize money to attract big name athletes from several sports, huge FTA TV coverage but seemingly no prospect of any profit.   And the classic is obstacle racing, which has effectively bought up the ownership of Modern Pentathlon.
    • apparently the Japanese organizers rejected OCA's nice request    now OCA is ordering them to do so in a not-so-nice language https://oca.asia/media/attachments/memberships_subcommittee/5/Decision_-_103rd_OCA_EB_Meeting_5ypY8y4.pdf   the last line is very interesting   I knew this for a while, for example that's why Jujjtsu is included in all of OCA events (despite being the worst sport to watch) but good to see OCA admit this. so with the corrupt OCA you can buy your way in. how much they paid the OCA officials for this ?   OK I know Qatar is financially supporting Padel (and UAE is paying everything for Jujitsu) but who is behind Teqball?  ! I don't think Thailand can do that.
    • Important information on team Aerials.   There is no AIN`s team at the start list of the world cup despite of the fact that belorussians have enough athletes to have a team.   https://medias4.fis-ski.com/pdf/2026/FS/8119/2026FS8119SLF1.pdf
    • By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period. (FIS could do the same but its top-officials prefer to help russians be back as quick as possible).   I would like to see Dolidovich at the Games. Because she is a real refugee of the relatively high level.
