Fencing Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

Recommended Posts

Finally an Asian title in fencing :champion:

it's only the 2nd gold medal ever even though it should be much more. Pakdaman came from 14-10 behind to win the gold.

but I hope they also do good in the team event. that's much more important in term of Olympic qualification.

and looks like Korean golden generation is fading, Oh, Kim and Gu they all got eliminated early by the hands of unknown guys. (Kuwait, Uzbekistan etc) :dunno: maybe they aren't the undisputed World #1 anymore

they will never reach the level of the legendary Meneghetti family, 7 brothers (all with "Soviet communist" names like Igor, Ivan, Sascha and so on :roflmao:) and a few more cousins all playing at the same time for the USG Zoldo in the Italian Hockey league in the early Nineties
