isn't SUI the finalist last year ??

yeah they were, but  :CZE has very strong team this year. with this roster around Voráček and with the fantastic almost home crowd support in Bratislava they are big medal contender this year. They are playing very impressive and good hockey at this tournament.

SVK should be relegated , they played very bad at home vs weak teams

You realize our goal here was the quarterfinal, everything else was considered a failure. and after Germany lost to USA yesterday we were eliminated and the players and the whole country completely mentally down.

so this match was for nothing any of the teams couldn´t move anywhere up or down in the final ranking. it was just a classic farewell match for our star Nagy (this was the only motivation to win this game tonight).

and we lost only to :CAN:FIN and :GER I didn´t know they are weak :p

btw one absolutely freezing moment from todays match.

it was minute 38. The whole stadium started chanting the name of Pavol Demitra RIP (our so much missed legendary #38 who passed away in the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl air plane crash in 2011 just a couple of weeks after we hosted the WCH for the first time in 2011) and right after this we scored a goal !!!

and some pics from todays great farewell of our Ladislav Nagy, the last active 2002 world champion has today officially finished his career at 40. He signed today his 122nd cap for our National Team.

And what a moment it was for him in his home arena in his birth city and scoring the winning goal in this (his very last careers) match.

Thank you Laci Nagy ! Thank you Košice and Slovak legend !
