Well since this is not Wikipedia, let's have fun in finding them I know the IOC will release the list before/after the ceremony later, and don't worry because I'll try finding and verifying the sources for flag bearers which we got from FB/emails
Before the ceremony. It happened at the previous Games before.
Why wait if you can have the most direct source possible
Because we still have one more day to spot and search for the most direct sources and cite them instantly on the forum. For example, Germany will announce its flag bearer within today. Surely, the sources related to the announcement will be identified and trending. Once we found it, we place it here.
Guys! For those who are able to contact the NOCs regarding the names of flag bearers during the opening ceremony, let's just wait for the sources to be cited. If not, the official list will be released by tomorrow.
Most idiotic part of that decision is that Nigeria will play matches on 4th and 7th August in Manaus!! So he'll travel 3000km to Rio and 3000km back just to carry a flag.
Exactly. Very idiotic to choose, very impossible to happen.
Wow. Football players deserve to carry the flag in the opening ceremony. This is indeed a bad call. Nigerians would have picked Segun Toriola or Blessing Okagbare.
Two athletes added to the German team after IAAF invitation of Diana Sujew (1500 metres) and Charlene Woitha (hammer throw). This increses the team size to 427.
Guys, I need your help for Belarus, Kazakhstan, and South Korea! Are there any sources related to the list of athletes for the aforementioned countries?

Hi Mateusz, I've noticed that you named the flagbearers without any citation or source? How did you know this?
