Track gold + medal in an Olympic event for :UKR. Did not see that coming.

But sort of humiliated by Russia. Not the first time in recent years

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Looks like GBR again doesn't want to qualify in women's team sprint.

2016 was a failure because of 1 rider poisoning the atmosphere in the team. 2020 might be a failure because all the good sprinters except one have retired,

Not necessarily, but to be fair: one can assume that when you go from 1 crappy track to 5 modern tracks and combine that with a huge PR machine and huge funding, it does deliver some noticeable results :p

The funding came from the success that came from training in the new velodromes.

Büchli being somewhat underestimated by being put against some Georgian guy

59.7, that's a very serious chance for gold :d
