This semifinal was so weak! I think all of my favourite songs were performed last Tuesday.

I don't think a moment should define her carreer, but honestly, if there was a moment where she shouldn't be humble, it was that. Remember, the situation needs to be put in context. After barely qualifying in the first stage, the team got a LOT of crap from Volleyball fans, which (frankly) the team didn't deserve. So after coming back from nothing to win a gold medal, I think it was more than fair to say a few harsh words for the people who didn't believe in them.

Groups were drawn for 2018 IBSA Blind Football World Championships. The winner will qualify to the 2020 Paralympics. Even though Brazil lost the Pan American championship to Argentina (the first defeat in almost a decade I think), we got an easier group I think...

Honestly, I'm sad for Petrix Barbosa, who I always thought never got to fulfill his potential - and now we may know why. Good for him on being brave enough and speak out.

Now, is finally time to say goodbye to the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018. It was a huge honour to host this contest and we thank all the people that made this such a fantastic edition! As we celebrate many artists around the world, sometimes we may forget that we have an artist among ourselves, so to close this evening, we've invited our very own @Werloc, also known as international artist Gebrasy. Saying goodbye to Brazil 2018, nothing better than a song in portuguese. The lithuanian will perform the beautiful "Amar Pelos Dois", of Salvador Sobral! After this amazing performance and the TISC flame being extinguished, we officially close the Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2018!

A very special participation we had for this contest was from our friends from Antarctica. It was an historic event and, after years rivaling our contest, the penguins were quite welcomed for the 10th overall edition of TISC. We also saw the last edition of Winterfest, which, of course, had Antactica as winners. Sadly we have to say goodbye to the penguins. As their final performance, @Tristan and Eve and the Antarctica delegation are here for one remarkable presentation of the winning song of that contest - "Boogie Wonderland"! Goodbye, penguins!

As you all know, it was a great honour for Brazil to host this year's Annual contest, but as we are saying goodbye to this edition, we also look forward to the future. Later in this year, TISC is going for the first time to the United States! Only the third nation of the continent to host this event (after Mexico and Brazil), the United States will be the home for the 6th edition of the Totallympics Open song contest. Now, the organizing committee wishes good luck to @dezbee2008 and present a beautiful video with images of the nation - with the song "American Oxygen".

As you all may know by now, this was the first ever edition of a Totallympics contest hosted in South America, and also in the southern hemisphere! Brazil had the honour of such feat, and the official Organizing Committe hopes everyone had a great time throughout this weekend of celebrations. As last piece of brazilian music, we brought our competing song at the contest, "A Bird With no Feet". This song is from the beautiful Le Tour du Monde project, in which a brazilian couple (Lucas Mayer, the singer, and Iris Fuzaro, a producer) travels around the world recording an album on the streets, capturing the atmosphere of each place. The song was recorded in Dublin with Irish singer Dan Elliott and fellow Brazilian Carlinhos Cruz. It Mixes portuguese and english and portuguese lyrics, also bringing local musicians for its inspiring melody. We thought that, at the 10th edition of the Totallympics Song Contests, this was a nice tribute to the nation that originated all, Ireland - and also to our friend @OlympicIRL for his great dedication to the contests!
