Good luck with your thesis and hopefully you´ll also find in the meantime a moment or two to enjoy a bit the Olympics battles

Great Britain can still be eventually counted in a mini-tie break table of 3 points teams, but mathematically is impossible for them to finish behind China and Australia, so de facto they are already saved. ***Australia with the worst position so far, only a regular time win over China can save them another year in this division (and if possible by the higher score possible otherwise they´ll need also a help for GBR to win at least one point against Poland). any other result than 3 points will immediately send down Australia. ****China need at least one single point against Australia to maintain in this category and send Australia down to the qualification tournament next year, in case of lose in regular time, they will need the help of Poland to win in regular time over GB. 10. Yep September guy, but I doubt there any Korfball behind my birth
  11. btw how big is the enthusiasm in your countries, are the populations eagerly awaiting the start of the games or the medias and general attentions are still somewhere around zero. For the majority of slovak "sport fans" the Olympics will start the 14th February at 21:10 so until then I expect a certain calm thanks god my sport and Olympic appetite is much bigger so I just can not wait the start of the games
  12. yes, I immediately thought about it. well, you know, everything can happen in hockey even more at the WOG. CAN may not be the biggest pre-tournament top favorite but no one should underestimated Canada in ice Hockey, It does not pay I´m pretty sure you´ll send a team that certainly will at the end be a true medal contender

  17. Wow Canada Also great performance of Wierer, Respect ! Nastya pity for that first shooting and the 2 misses in first 2 targets, without them she would certainly fought for a podium today. but the final 9th place in her first Individual race since Sochi 2014 with 3 faults is pretty decent. 2nd fastest skiing time overall some 10 seconds behind Herrmann is just fantastic, she had even the fastest last lap, this is also a very promising sign, now just must focus on shooting to avoid similar mistakes like in the first prone today. Paulína ok too, after the hard training camp we didn´t expected anything great immediately, but her skiing times looks very well, pity also for the 3 faults, with at least 1 less she would fought for the mass start but well any points right now are good, let see in the next races, the peak is expected to come in PyeongChang
  18. I still can not believe that mens Ice hockey final is not the last event of the games. Anyway another absolutely fantastic work Danny !

  21. Zuzana Stromková will definitively not compete in PyeongChang She announced today that she is still not ok after her last month surgery and will miss also the last world cup race before the qualifying deadline, she was long time in the top 20 of the qualifying list but due the surgery she missed almost all this new seasons races and dropped from the top 24 for PyeongChang, and since she will not compete in Laax she officially lost all chances to compete at her second Olympics So no Slovak participants in Freestyle Skiing in PC 2018. source in SVK https://sport.sme.sk/c/20734927/zuzana-stromkova-nepojde-na-zoh-2018.html
