  1. Yeah, most female athletes would focus on the Olympics and like anyone who doesn't think it's the right time for a child (yet) use birth control. In the rare case where that doesn't work, I really, really don't think a majority would almost literally throw away their future child. Going all "well most Europeans and Americans would just do that" borders on the insane. Then again, we know it was coming from someone who is generally posting not much else than how much everything is always the fault of every other part of the world except his (more specially, the big bad West), we're probably giving it way too much 'credibility' by even responding like this. Sorry.
  2. Wonderful, of all people Katerina Razymova - this season's World Cup distance sensation basically - has to be in Nove Mesto as well for the Czech Cup races Well it will be an interesting measure
  3. "Most elite female athletes from the US and Europe would be ringing up their abortionist"? Lol, no. 1) They generally don't have 'their abortionist' 2) Most elite female athletes who are in her position in the athletic sense would be using birth control 3) I'm fairly sure, but this is an assumption, most elite female athletes with who birth control didn't work would sit out the Olympics instead of thinking "oh ok, abortion!". I mean, we can have nonsense discussions all day long, but saying most in her position would just go for an abortion is just borderline bullshit.
  4. Oh they definitely should have separate threads, no problem, I just meant it was useless for me to try and find the right one
  5. Sure, you can say that (as long as you understand it's most likely not true).
  6. Two Chinese people on board a cruise ship close to Italy have contracted a high fever and now 6000 people have to stay on board for now. Uh oh.
  7. God knows where the right thread is in between the millon age groups AND divisions AND groups in which I'm totally lost, so I'll just drop this here https://www.iihf.com/en/news/17813/tournament-in-china-to-be-relocated
  8. Which means they don't count as infected (yet) Official numbers, for what they're worth, are most likely passing through 8k today.
  9. At least the National Games races there went on two weeks ago, so they do have some first experience now. Hopefully it can simply be moved to next year, should still be easily in time to prepare for the Olympics (if the world isn't dead by then).
  10. And it gives you a mega dick apparently. Which, I assume, is something Chinese people would be interested in Only 15 dollars a kilo, go ahead!
  11. Since tons and tons of animals are being hunted and killed in Africa all the time, for a large part because Chinese people believe a rhino horn gives you a better erection or something....would it be possible to make the same people believe poacher meat is a cure for the coronavirus? At least then something good would come out of this..
  12. A hollow tree in the village of Meliandou, to be exact. It housed a large colony of bats, which children used to play with. A 2-year old boy caught the virus and then it went on.
  13. @ahjfcshfghb Any chance you have any clue how/where to possibly find live timing for Czech Cup races, specifically these ones? https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/event-details.html?sectorcode=CC&eventid=46093&seasoncode=2020 Since our Brazilian Olympic hopeful will be competing there (among others) it'd be nice to follow along..
  14. Removing the dead happens, but when people die of an infectious disease, it's generally not a good idea to go on as usual and let everyone and their mother touch the dead person. Just to be clear: not blaming the people there for still being far behind in hygiene in situations like this, but it did make it very much easier for in this case Ebola to spread. The biggest Ebola epidemic didn't start in a local market by the way, it most likely started because of a young boy coming in contact with a bat in some tiny village, after which his sister, mom and grandmom got infected and died, and then it spread.
  15. Remco Merckx thrashed around the entire competition in the 3rd stage of the Vuelta a San Juan, a 15k individual time trial. Filippo Ganna was the only one in the entire field (which admittedly isn't incredibly strong) who was not humiliated. https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/vuelta-ciclista-a-la-provincia-de-san-juan/2020/stage-3
  16. Although Ebola spread largely in an area where hygiene has not been invented yet. Everyone touching the dead and so on, even when they died from Ebola. It's rather hard to compare this, Ebola, SARS etc. This seems to spread easier, but seems less fatal.
  17. Nobody knows the general IBU ranking because IBU keeps the whole thing completely secret Which makes it even more of a bad idea to focus on biathlon instead of cross-country. So if anything, it'll be cross-country. Also because reasons and everything.
  18. Ah, huge importance on the completely secret list again, how wonderful. Also, I wouldn't bet your house on it
  19. If it was in another big Chinese city, meh, but yeah, considering it is in Wuhan itself it might be a good idea to move it
