One lap to go: "He is one and a half second behind his personal best and the NR, so that's going to be very difficult!" while he was already slowing down to 29+ and needed a sub-28 seconds lap to stand a chance of breaking his PB

    So far most people are 'disappointing' (as in, not getting their PB's). One of the Dutch commentators has of course already mentioned the L-word...luchtcirculatie, meaning air circulation --> the thing that, according to him, has a huge influence on the results. There's not enough air circulation from riders on the warmup track yet Always when there's a false start, one can hear him say how it'll affect the times 'because there is a little break and so the air circulation is broken'
