  1. Without spoiling results: anyone has any idea how long this slopestyle stuff is going to take?! It should be long finished...
  2. There I saw it, but for example my grandma - who really wanted to watch it as well - depended on it being on TV. Hopefully it'll be in some replay. At least we can record it to show her when we go there..
  3. Well, fantastic, they made a really cool video/interview, but the stupid slopestyle got in the way of that being on TV
  4. The freestyle stuff is messing with the programming, let's go with the cross-country
  5. For those interested, Eurosport's broadcast of the women's 10k freestyle starts at 12:20 CET (first athlete starts at 12:30), and somewhere in the 10 minute preview they'll show an interview with our Totallympian @brunamoura
  6. Great, we're stuck with NOS again, which usually shows stuff on their non-rewatchable and non-pausable live stream Oh how I wish Eurosport got the athletics rights back.
  7. Which genius had the brilliant idea to put the rails at the bottom of the slopestyle course, and so not speeding up the run from top to bottom, but slowing the entire thing down to a near-standstill every single run?
  8. I did find the documents, but usually there's the easy-to-use timetable page where you have links to the start list + results. I hope it will appear at some point.
  9. Where is the usual European-Athletics.com page with Timetable & Results (which is usually together in one handy page, which also includes start lists and such so one can also easily follow it when not live)? https://www.european-athletics.com/competitions/european-athletics-indoor-championships/overview All kinds of stuff but the main page to follow the event seems to be missing.
  10. All taking the famous Bubka tactics And come on, who wouldn't do the same?
  11. Impressive 5th place for the Canadian men Those were some fun finals today.
  12. None were DSQ and they still had 15 seconds to spare towards 16th place
  13. Because it's now 15 instead of 10 teams in the final And they timed their results nice btw
  14. While calling Bruna after her individual sprint qualifying on Thursday, while she was standing in that warmup/cooldown area where athletes do their last-minute prep and stuff, she at some point walked away for a second. I heard some talking in the background, and later she told me it was the Mexican she had waited for at the finish, Regina (they've known each other for a while). While they were talking, apparently one Jessie Diggins walked by and was super excited about Regina's Mexican race suit, offering a swap with her American one, and after some hesitation on the other side, Diggins made it really clear it was definitely not a joke So they got in touch later to set a place to meet, and now:
  15. Anyhow, great race by Bruna, only 1,5s behind Jaque is one of the closest - if not the closest - margins ever between them! Both did excellent
  16. The front teams go slowly, the backmarkers just have a repeat of their individual qualifying. The only teams for whom this is remotely interesting are the teams who are really fighting for those positions around the 15th spot. It should at the very least provide FIS points, since it's simply an individual qualifying race.
  17. Golberg just let a ski glide out onto the track, blocking the way of a few others...
  18. And Brazil with Jaque Mourão and our Bruna Moura Only this week I realized they also have this awful qualifying format instead of regular semi-finals here at the worlds, that sucks badly Kind of takes away most of the enthusiasm of seeing Brazil in the race, since now it's basically just a repeat of the individual sprint qualifying and not a real team effort. Anyhow, vamos.
  19. The classic opening weekend is on Omloop Het Nieuwsblad going on right now, 47km to go.
  20. Now let's see if Slind can do this again next week on Saturday and then in the Vasaloppet one day later as she is planning
