  1. Never mind, those are results from 2020, I'm blind The Norwegian federation site linked to that and I hadn't noticed their mistake
  2. Katja Visnar appeared in some FIS races in Norway this weekend, and is....well, in very good shape apparently https://www.skiforbundet.no/globalassets/09-rennarrangorer/2020-equinor-nc-mjosski/resultater/resultatliste-equinor-nc-dag-2-sprint---kvinner-senoir.pdf Even second place in the qualifying in a very strong field full of well-known names! https://www.skiforbundet.no/globalassets/09-rennarrangorer/2020-equinor-nc-mjosski/resultater/resultatliste-equinor-nc-dag-2-sprint-prolog---kvinner-senior.pdf
  3. That's a shame.... It says quite a lot about how into this 50k I was today (a lot, it was fun!) that I honestly had not noticed the absence of Andersson and Karlsson until just right now when reading your post And I like both of them, so now I'm ashamed I hadn't noticed by myself
  4. That was a fun women's race I hadn't heard it before, but apparently one of the criticisms of the women doing 50k was "it's unhealthy for the women"? Seriously, who are those people and why did they get stuck in the 1950's?
  5. Personally I always find it funny to see when the bulls actually manage to catch some people here and there
  6. So far, Norway is my large favourite (for my vote, not necessarily for the win), by a serious margin What a song Nice melody, nice beat, nice rhythm, everything!
  7. Based on what exactly is Shiffrin called 'the greatest of all time' by (largely English-language) media, surely it's not just the number of WC wins? Because that of course says something about both her (in a great sense) and about the competition, one might argue. Although the whole 'greatest of all time/GOAT' terminology has been greatly devalued in the past 4-5 years or so in the world of sports, with every bit of media and their mom constantly talking about it
  8. That was a rather foolish mistake by Lin indeed, but doesn't really make the final by itself less phenomenal It's really the month of silly yet sort of dumb mistakes costing world titles it seems, after the Dutch women's team pursuit last week
  9. Awesome team though! And even better, the very first one to vote That is just perfect, I can cheer my favourite songs on literally from the beginning
  10. Whoops, as expected I was mostly busy with other things during draw time, my apologies!
  11. I googled them out of curiousity and got to some Nigerian page on Tripadvisor (regular Tripadvisor site so I wasn't afraid of a virus ) with a photo of some dude and a table absolutely filled with cash, you know, like those typical drug lords Nooooope.
  12. Personally I think we should only allow cults with human sercrify on here, or else what's the point? In other words, @Sindo, pick up the broom and hammer
  13. What's this thing I see in media/hear in commentary about Shiffrin "finally tying Stenmark's record!"? I mean, she's 27, how on earth is it a matter of 'finally'? Anyhow, nice tidbit, this 86th win
  14. ViaPlay has them and since this season also broadcasts them in the Netherlands (with English commentary!) on their streaming platform That was an incredibly unexpected yet fantastic discovery when I realized that in November or so Can't check right now but I hope Engadin will be there as well.
  15. Agnese, it makes you wonder if she's possibly grown up in Latvia, but for example with a Thai parent?
  16. Really? No idea at all? That can was empty buddy.
  17. Voted, nice and timely. It was certainly not easy, and it doesn't happen often, but some songs ended up as reserves even though I wanted to give them points.. Definitely one of the best 'Annual' contests I've ever been a part of!
  18. I still can't say I'm too familiar with it Maybe @brunamoura knows it better, since she works in a bike shop where they listen to the radio a lot more than I do
  19. I'll probably be busy with other things (visitors, apparently), but not entirely sure about the timing of that, so just in case: give me a mention if you still need a hand and if I'm there, I'll help out
  20. Why hold on there, I don't believe I've ever voted outside of the original deadline
  21. Just dropping a message to say I haven't voted yet, and today might be difficult, but I'm definitely on schedule to be in time tomorrow
  22. It's been underway for thousands of years already, even
  23. I am, for one, super interested in the story behind the Yugo-Danish Union Also, fuck the rest of Europe, apparently. Woohoo
  24. The generation after us however would then be the one which still needs to pay for everything, but can't get any money because all the jobs have gone tits up thanks to AI
