  1. Wow, anyone saw that avalanche in Antholz? That stopped just in time to avoid pummeling the (rather many) spectators...luckily nobody got hurt.
  2. I'd agree, although I wouldn't put Repilov far behind, or even Kindl. Loch should of course be able to fight for the gold as well (obviously), but he's been making so many mistakes this season.. Oh well, as long as nobody dominates, I'm happy
  3. Loch throws it away in run two. Ice is cold and water is wet.
  4. And Repilov fails, so David Gleirscher takes the last Austrian spot.
  5. David Gleirscher seems to end up in 7th, where a top-6 would have secured his Olympic spot. They might still choose him though
  6. Kristoffersen to finally beat Hirscher, only to be beaten by Matt in return in 3, 2, 1.....
  7. "Run two will come up in about 35 minutes local time." Wait what, 35 minutes in local time is different than 35 minutes in, say, Pacific Time?
  8. What exactly does a 'fouth' do?
  9. Commentator: "Here's Pavlichenko, who shows you don't even have to look where you're going to have a great run." *Pavlychenko crashes*
  10. So he won't play? Otherwise he most definitely is a player
  11. Skip - Player - Player - Player Wait, that means the skip is no player?
  12. Meanwhile in Canada....Mikael Kingsbury has been beaten at the moguls!! Japanese fella beat him by half a point or something
  13. Georgia Simmerling has broken a bone in her leg in today's semi-final fall at the Nakiska World Cup and is pretty much out of the Olympics That's Thompson, Zacher and Simmerling out (and I'm probably forgetting someone)...not cool.
  14. It seems in English it's called the trackathlon and it consists of running (with weight, by the looks of the video), shot put, hurdles and standing long jump. http://www.european-athletics.org/news/article=innovative-athletics-format-tested-portugal-ahead-2019-european-games/index.html I'm just gonna go ahead and say 'No' on this.
  15. Makes one wonder what else they should do
  16. These are really odd descriptions.
  17. Well I'm also not a fan of it I just mean I can (to some agree) understand it. Who knows for example what his personal situation is, maybe Turkey's money can get him from barely getting by to having no financial worries anymore, something like that. I'd find it hard to say no then when I already am not competing for my home country anymore anyway
  18. Apparently left Georgia because there was barely a serious chance in Georgia's rather strong team. After that, it's hard to blame someone when yet another country comes along and could make you financially independent (he was already out of his home country for other reasons anyway, so why not leave Greece as well).
  19. Ouch, nasty crash for David Hablützel of Switzerland in the half pipe competition at the LAAX Open today. According to reports, he is conscious, speaking and able to move his limbs, so that's good. https://streamable.com/lnbs9
  20. Again? They did the same at Hochfilzen 2017, I wonder what they're expecting to find now.
  21. Someone please do a DNA test at Klaebo. I highly doubt he's human..
  22. I missed what happened, only saw that Wierer finished with one pole. Domracheva stepped on her pole, causing Wierer to lose it, and because of that Domracheva let her go ahead? Or did I miss something more?
  23. Right. Kind of weird, messing up a team last-minute with players they don't even know, right before their home Olympics, but alright. At least it won't cost 12 athletes the experience..
