  1. He is expecting to jump really far in qualifying.
  2. Well at least it makes a bit sense then...in that case maybe he doesn't care so much or else he would have tried to be in Korea..
  3. What the hell. Heads will roll, blood will flow. (not literally, but you know) This is the worst Olympic news in a long time and yes I've been following the Russia situation.
  4. Their official Twitter account: https://twitter.com/Morocco2026_EN Also, their plans include an 'open and welcome' tournament and, interestingly, 'in a country where everyone is accepted' (their words). Trololol.

  8. To be fair, he didn't compete since August....of 2016. Might not even be active anymore. In fact, his Instragam says 'Formerly Harvard & Cayman Islands National Ski Team'.
  9. That's 2cm too big
  10. Speed skating The Netherlands will 'sweep' a distance (winning all three medals). Norway will win an individual medal. At least 5 athletes will go under 13 minutes in the 10km. At least 5 athletes will fall in the men's and women's 500m (combined). Japan will beat USA in the women's medal standings. Germany, Norway, Italy, Canada, Finland, Belgium, South Korea, USA, Czech Republic and Poland together will beat the Netherlands in the medal standings. Any woman will win at least three medals. At least two athletes will win two or more individual gold medals.
  11. Kinda forgot...I'll take a look at the speed skating and make some suggestions.
  12. At 1:20 in his run, slow motion replay at 1:30 in the video. Morons.
  13. Party at the Planai
  14. So Lizeroux' DNF decided the fight for France's last slalom ticket between him and Grange (who was clearly behind Lizeroux after run 1)?
  15. Begaj being caught broke last week, and has already resulted in the Albanian federation pretty much disbanding itself (president said goodbye, the rest followed), so the European championships of March - which they got because original host Turkey got a one year doping ban - has to find a new host yet again.
  16. All rosters have been announced now, correct?
  17. I hope the same, and I especially hope to see Kaisheva perform great (maybe even medal), and show the Russian federation/coaches that ignoring her forever was an immensely stupid thing to do. She deserved to be a World Cup regular long ago and she's still being forced to (almost) only compete in IBU Cups, which are way below her level.
  18. Lol. Because it's the Olympics and you have a chance to perform well there. And because if they have a set of balls, they could even use it to show they're not letting 'the big bad conspiracy west' (or whatever they are calling it, depending on whether or not they're conspiracy people) win.
  19. I'm just a Slovak supporter trying to also give a little cheer to Switzerland, don't blame me.
  20. The typo version of Schwiiz
  21. Nah, I like Switzerland so I'll be cheering for them, but mostly for Slovakia, no worries
  22. Babikov, Akimova and even Kaisheva are all outsiders for medals (three of the many, many outsiders in biathlon). Sure, not favourites (like Shipulin who had a pretty decent medal chance, or Yurlova in a lesser way), but definitely athletes with a chance on a good day.
  23. Start list for tomorrow's women's individual at the open Europeans in Ridnaun, sadly without Bruna, who is still feeling sick. https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/1718/BT/SCEU/CH__/SWIN/BT_C51A_1.0.pdf And the men: https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/1718/BT/SCEU/CH__/SMIN/BT_C51A_1.0.pdf
  24. This is really interesting. When I was at the IBU Cups I heard a lot of talk about how the Mongolians have really improved a lot compared to last season, nice to see some behind the scenes in this video now and hear about the history of biathlon there
