  1. Nurudinov didn't appear even once since Rio? Sports has forced me to see that as rather suspicious
  2. That really is the case for basically every sport (or at least should be the case) From a neutral perspective, this sounds seriously awesome
  3. Yet another thing that makes one wonder how it can be so hard. I mean, websites of MotoGP, World Superbikes and I believe European Athletics or IAAF for example always simply list both the local time and the user's time and it works perfectly fine. South Korea might have been mostly known for corruption in terms of unfair results and Koreans being heavily favoured, but at least they had the expertise to host an event in today's internet-age..
  4. Ah damn it, after writing Pyongyang instead of Pyeongchang, I'm now so used to writing Pyeongchang
  5. What a surprise to see Damascus on the bottom...(they left out the 'extremes' like Baghdad and Kabul, and I guess Pyeongchang wasn't willing to give any info or something) After 7 titles, Melbourne now has to settle for 2nd
  6. Oh come on, if there is one showcase to actually show the world what you're capable of in terms of Olympic hosting hopes, it's the Asian Games...and then they screw it up with amateur stuff like this That website...man, it's like they hired a 12-year old who finished some HTML classes, all that's missing is a glitter marquee scrolling from right to left.
  7. I managed to watch for one minute until it turned into some angry lady using the misery of a country full of people to go on a 'Democrats suck' spree
  8. World keirin champion Fabian Puerta Zapata has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for an anabolic steroid at the Colombian championships in June.
  9. Any info about participants or live streams or something? The OP has just a non-clickable 'link' and a logo, it lacks....almost everything
  10. "Ok last 5 minutes, all-out!" Malaysia is going full retard.
  11. In that case, they're holding their own relatively well Japan - Malaysia sounds promising..
  12. I thought Indonesia would be destroyed, but they're on their way to beat Malaysia
  13. A bridge collapsed in Italian Genoa about an hour ago, dozens are feared dead...
  14. To be fair, nothing wrong with a wrestling thread for a wrestling tournament or a badminton thread for a badminton tournament. I mean, we have threads for U15 World Cups in an American sport like baseball I think the point is more about a men's basketball thread and a women's basketball thread and stuff like that.
  15. I tried Hola and ZenVPN, both were too slow to work and I'm not a fan of installing more of those shady VPN programs..
  16. I remember reading that it was the first time ever at a 'major' international competition where a team did not manage to score even a single goal.
  17. Reminds me of the legendary 79-0 of the Japanese women against the Maldives last time
  18. Might as well just call it European Games by then. Oh wait.
  19. Torturing them to death seems a little extreme, but yeah, me and many Dutch sports fans hate it Anyway, during something like the Olympics there's never one broadcaster doing everything exactly how I want it, logically, so the Olympics is a matter of switching between Dutch, Belgian, British, German TV and Eurosport. Which also was the case now a few times, because the schedule was sometimes just too full, with for example swimming and athletics right after each other.
