Якщо їх не буде і в Штатах 11-12 січня, то все питання в тому, чи зможе Попович за решту 3 етапи відіграти 13 очок від Гуськової у боротьбі за 4 жіночу квоту. Завдання непросте, але і учасниць небагато, тож очки можна брати. У двоборстві етап скасували, аінівцю візу поки не дали, тому наші там же, де й були. Тобто, 42 - 46 квот потенційно. 43 - реальне таке, робоче число.

By the way. It looks like no AIN`s will be in biathlon by the start of the Olympics. Russians filed an appeal to CAS to get AIN statuses in biathlon. But IBU did not agree to have hearings with short procedure. So the decisons are not expected before the end of qulifying period.
