Not sure about that one. It would fit into my training, but my weekend schedule is pretty stacked in that period. Ask me a bit later. Then we'll see. If I don't have anything planned, then I guess I'm in.

Tokyo Summer Olympic Games 2020 News
Agger replied to uk12points's topic in Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
Don't you start attacking our crown prince! (not that I expect anybody but Danes to hear about his work in IOC and even we hear very little ) -
Really? That's not what I hear from the Danes in the hotel (though I haven't seen tweets about it for some hours)
-
Putting an entire hotel with 1000 guests in quarantine.
-
Only 3 races in 3 days. Tough weather!

Another good old discussion, and really one that's pretty stupid. It's not like Sanders is planning to take money to give to the already rich (mainly himself) like in Robin Hood. If Sanders was some kind of dictator who was only interested in his own, it would be fine. Meanwhile it does to some point explain why he isn't Robin Hood either.

The only thing that I get when searching for Mike Adams and corona is Alex Jones, one of the most far-out conspiracy theorists and hate speakers. He makes Trump seem like a perfectly normal human being. Doesn't make it any better if it's Mike Adams from Natural News. Didn't bother to watch the clip, though.
-
Has Trump said so? The only politician I've heard going with those rumours is Tom Cotton and he isn't quite the kind of person I listen to. Is it man made? It's not impossible, but unless I hear it from somebody who knows what they talk about (and I doubt that you or me is in that group here). There are plenty of types of corona virus and it's a constant fight with evolution. Until ther's any kind of proof, it'll all be a conspiracy theory and right now the world should be fighting the disease, not eachother on this!

Athletics Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games
Agger replied to OlympicIRL's topic in Athletics
Mustafa Mohamed? He cut 22 minutes compared to his first marathon (back in 2005) where his main focus was the 3000m steeplechase. He cut a little less than 2½ minutes from his former PB. -

Indeed. 15 years after his marathon debut the same place. Cut 22 minutes and is now the national record holder in another event -

That is a pretty questionable conclusion. He got about 34% in the first round which is the one you could compare to polling. That's pretty close to the polling averages and a bit lower than FiveThirtyEight's simulated average. Not trying to make it sound like anything but a win and he's still a big favourite for the plurality, but it's pretty much the expected performance. Klobuchar and Steyer should both be very disappointed. Steyer could very well drop out after South Carolina if something big doesn't happen. Meanwhile Klobuchar might very well stay around for Super Tuesday as she is afterall still winning at home (which seems to be a big deal for some candidates). Meanwhile Biden supporters see positive signs in the result, especially the entrance polls giving him good results among blacks. Buttigieg should be pretty positive as well as he got above 15 % (so far at least) in a state that should be much worse for him than the 2 first ones. At last Warren will be hoping that her debate performance will give more in SC as a lot of Nevada votes were cast before the debate and others say they decided long ago.

Thank god I live in Denmark. No signing up needed to get to vote

Oh dear...

We had a few tie breaks in Iowa done by a coin toss. But now it's Nevada and how could they do it if not by drawing a card?

Beware. IOC may be listening!

This just isn't Öberg's championships!

But well. Though we've seen more new cases outside China, it could seem like it is contained in the Wuhan area with worldwide numbers of new cases at its 2nd lowest in february (only yesterday was lower).
-
Most cases shows up to 2 weeks (median at 5-6 days), but a few indications that it could be higher.

Men's Basketball FIBA European Championship 2022

Denmark leading after first quarter against Not expecting it to hold as no team has been that good in the shooting so far. -
Looking forward to the talk

Fantastic. Just yesterday I heard a talk about toxic nostalgia where Gone With the Wind was mentioned (and MAGA of course ) But to be fair, Gone with the Wind is still seen as an amazing movie. It is a product of another time and as such it does romanticize some things that we wouldn't see nowadays, but filmically it's still pretty close to the top. Not the first movie I would mention when it comes to the classics, but it's one that is easy to sell among his followers.
