  1. last day of the Junior Worlds... and today's Gold Medal finals are: men's -100kg: vs men's +100kg: vs women's -78kg: vs women's +78kg: vs
  2. Women's -49kg, Semifinals Panipak Wongpattanakit b. Hung Yu-Ting 27-10 Sim Jae-Young b. Miyu Yamada 15-13 Men's -58kg, Semifinals Kim Tae-Hun b. Adrian Vicente Yunta 14-8 Armin Hadipour b. Jesùs Tortosa Cabrera 17-15 Women's +67kg, Semifinals Bianca Walkden b. Maria Espinoza 22-5 Zheng Shuyin b. Gao Pan 7-2
  3. so, you'd better not entering this thread anymore until you watch the semis, since I guess in a few seconds we're going to write about the results of the bouts...
  4. sure they do...but the problem could be the one I wrote just above...
  5. the problem is that often those videos are not in perfect order, so there's always the chance to see who's in the final before watching the semifinals...
  6. I'm watching the Hungarian TV and we are already halfway through the first semi in the -61kg...
  7. the upper back part of the left thigh (I know...I just did a copy&paste from the source reporting the medical terms)...
  8. let's see what we can do...if only our friend and "specialist" in video archives @Olympian1010 could help, it would be highly appreciated... by the way, all semifinals (strating right now) will follow the logical order (first the -61kg rank, then the other weight classes up to the -125kg) and will be on 1 mat, so we have the chance to watch them one by one in total relaxation (well, maybe not so relaxed for some bouts...but still)...
  9. normally UWW uploads the videos of the single medal bouts on their UWW page, but it's full of spoilers... maybe we could try to link them here without having to open the entire UWW YT page and search for them and getting into those spoilers...let's see if someone can do it (personally, I don't think I have time in short time after the matches have been completed, maybe the following day)...
  10. and after Sofia Goggia in Alpine Skiing, Italy loses for some time (weeks? months?) another of their Winter Sports stars, Carolina Kostner... she's in fact experiencing strong pain in the left hip and an inflammation of the proximal tendon of the left femoral rectum, therefore she's out indefinitely (for sure at least all the GP stint of this season)...
  11. I think they are "Livestream" platform files (like those of ISSF Shooting)... I have the app on my Apple TV and for the Shooting Worlds it worked very well...there was the chance to view all sessions live and ondemand (without spoilers) immediately after the end of the live feed... I hope it's the same (and it works also on PC and other platforms) for UWW (but I never checked it out, since the finals sessions normally are available on some of the tv networks I can watch with my satellite dish...mainly TRT3 Spor from Turkey or the international feed, when I can find the keys to steal the pictures from it )... by the way, I did find another option, the Hungarian TV... they're going to broadcast all the champs live on their channels, in particular the semifinals and finals session are on "Duna World"... all of their programs can be watched ondemand on their website (Wrestling Worlds are available outside HUN, so no VPN needed)... https://www.mediaklikk.hu/musorujsag/# you just have to look for "Birkozo Vilagbajnoksag" (= Wrestling Worlds), click on the title of the program and choose "Elò" (=Live) if you're watching at the time of live broadcast or "Video Inditasa" (= Video Ondemand) if you're trying to recover the program later (hoping that they make it available...this morning session for instance it's not there yet )...
  12. -74kg, QTFs Chamizo b. Sakayev 6-1 Sidakov b. Burroughs 6-5 Demirtas b. Nurykau 2-0 Kentchadze b. Abakarov 5-2
  13. -125kg, QTFs Petriashvili b. Khizriev 8-5 Hadi b. Akgul 3-2 Sumit b. Inkar 6-1 Deng b. Gwizdowski ?-?
  14. apparently Sumit won 6-1 against Inkar in the -125kg class... and hopefully the mat A stream is back...just in time to follow our Frank...
  15. and Petriashvili had his troubles, but finally won 8-5 against Kizriev... no idea about the remaining matches, since UWW has let their stream go... p.s. @MHSN are you still with us or did you have an heart attack?
  16. wow! that's an upset! Hadi beat Akgul in the superheavyweights!!!
  17. what the hell is going on??? why have they stopped the action?
  18. no, unfortunately (unless the Hungarian tv shows that mat, but I doubt...they are always on mat C since this morning)...
  19. I just can't believe it!!! UWW went off air with Mat A before the last quarterfinals (125 & 74 Kg classes)...
  20. -61kg, QTFs Rashidov b. Gongane 12-0 Bonne Rodriguez b. Yakhkeshi by Fall (but it was painful...it all happened in the very last second, when Yakhkeshi was 8-6 ahead) Colon b. Dubov 10-0 Lomtadze b. Koyanagi 11-1
  21. -86kg, QTFs Taylor III b. Torreblanca 8-0 Kurugliev b. Baranovski 5-1 Friev Naskid b. Heino 10*-10 Erdin b. Kim 10-0
  22. yeah, I thought the same (I remember very well what happened in Rio)... at least this time his coach didn't try any kind of streaptease...
  23. well, that's very local... in that site they even write about how many times a day the players of HCB go to the bathroom...
  24. and it looks we're almost ready for the quarterfinal stage in all of today's classes... -61kg, QTFs vs vs vs vs -74kg, QTFs vs vs vs vs (AZE won a very controversial eightfinal match vs , with an accepted challenge in the very last second that overturned the final score from 5-4 in favor of the Mongolian to 6-5 for him) -86kg, QTFs vs vs vs vs -125kg, QTFs vs vs vs vs
  25. Hosseinkhani got very close, but finally it was JB to get the victory home... meanwhile, second match and second win for Chamizo... very tactical start, but then he took the advantage and never looked back, conceding just a single point in the last 30 seconds to the Korean guy... today Frank looks very focused, he's not taking any risk nor wasting energy in spectacular moves there's no need of...
