  1. and we must say that...shame! shame! shame! on WTF and that referee... Walkden's Gold is a pure robbery...
  2. she lost the Korean internal selection...but unfortunately for KOR, her "substitute" didn't even get a medal...
  3. finally! Italy win a team event exciting ending of the Gold Medal match...it looked all over with just 7/8 targets for each shooter still to go, but the US pair lost their focus and made too many mistakes in the last few shots and allowed Italy to tied the match...then in the shoot-off the first mistake by Ashley Carroll gave Italy the chance to close it down...and Daniele Resca didn't miss his shot: Italy win!
  4. 2019 World Cup, Stage #5 (Changwon, KOR) Mixed Team Trap Gold: Italy (Silvana Stanco & Daniele Resca) Silver: USA (Ashley Carroll & Derek Haldeman) Bronze: Chinese Taipei (Lin Yi Chun & Yang Kun-Pi)
  5. that's not a doping case... as I already explained many times, it's a farce mixed with a plot mixed with pure Italian style political messages and many other things...but nothing that has to do with sport and doping, in any case... the true criminals are those of NADO Italia...they're just a waste of our money (as they're a public institution)...
  6. 2019 World Cup, Stage #5 (Changwon, KOR) Men's Trap Gold: Andreas Makri Silver: Matthew John Coward-Holley Bronze: James Willett Olympic Quota: Cyprus, Great Britain
  7. and we have a shoot-off between Coward-Holley and Makri to decide the Gold Medal... and finally Cyprus take the Gold
  8. Matthew John Coward-Holley and Andreas Makri earned today's Olympic Quota in Men's Trap
  9. yes, all unlikely scenarios...Draisaitl's goal just killed an entire Nation, I fear... it's a real pity that after such an amzing start, SVK just lost their minds...because I'm pretty sure that losing games like they did vs CAN and above all GER it's only a matter of mental issues...

  11. Final Results (Night Session): Group A Slovakia - Germany 2-3 (0-0, 2-1, 0-2) 23:54 Marc Michaelis (Eisenschmid) 0-1 28:30 Andrej Sekera (Cernak, Tatar) 1-1 29:55 Libor Hudacek (Panik, Tatar) 2-1 58:08 Markus Eisenschmid (Seidenberg, Kahun) 2-2 59:33 Leon Draisaitl (Tiffels, Kahun) 2-3 Group B Russia - Italy 8-0 (4-0, 4-0, 2-0) 00:31 Nikita Zaitsev (Gusev, Kucherov) 1-0 08:30 Dinar Khafizullin (Gusev, Kucherov) 2-0 13:15 Yevgeni Kuznetsov (Barabanov) 3-0 16:14 Alexandr Ovechkin (Kuznetsov) 4-0 20:18 Yevgeni Kuznetsov (Ovechkin, Orlov) 5-0 26:03 Ilya Kovalchuk (Kuznetsov) 6-0 33:41 Yevgeni Dadonov (Kucherov, Gusev) 7-0 36:25 Mikhail Grigorenko (Barabanov) 8-0 44:52 Nikita Kucherov (Khafizullin, Zaitsev) 9-0 45:27 Yevgeni Dadonov (Kovalchuk) 10-0
  12. they're so "unstable" that they won the last world champs in a row and their worst result ever (since 1938) is a 7th place (and they were so low in the final standings only once, in 2000)... and before 1938, they finished outside the top 6 only once (10th in 1937)... that's how bad they have been in the whole history... and do you really think this year they should fail to make the top 8? c'mon, man!
  13. OMG!!! this is heartbreaking... Leon Draisaitl just showed why he's a superstar in the NHL...and Germany scored the go-ahead goal with only 27 seconds left on the clock...
  14. noooooo...Germany tied the game with less than 2 minutes still to play (and the empty net)...
  15. be serious...SWE are going to destroy LAT... and for sure they can win against any other team, RUS included (which doesn't necessarily mean that they're gonna win, but it could well happen, meanwhile it's almost impossible that LAT could make any point against RUS, CZE and SWE)...
  16. in the meantime, SVK are still leading 2-1 with around 5 minutes left on the clock (and GER are in power play)...
  17. what the hell are you saying??? they only played 3 games out of 7...how can you even think that those standings are significant at this point? by the way, it's over...Russia only scored 10 goals against Italy...and Italy now are full 240 mins without scoring a single goal... if this is not a record, we must be really close anyway... so...bets are now open...will Italy finally score at least 1 goal in the final 3 games or will they end up with an embarassing "0" in the "Goals Scored" column?
  18. by the way, Russia now have reached the double digit advantage...
  19. 20. and finally we have the last results of the day, too... Women's 73kg Lee b. Ble Espinoza b. Kus which means that Korea are 3 for 3 in the Gold Medal matches on day #1 and Mexico also had a wonderful day with 2 guys in the final act of their respective weight classes...
  21. for the joy of @hckosice, quick 1-2 by Slovakia...now they're 2-1 ahead... Italy is down by a still reasonable margin...8-0 for the mighy Russians with 2 mins left in the 2nd period...
  22. by the way, the semis of the women's -46kg and of the men's -58kg have been completed... Men's 58kg Plaza b. Braganca Jang b. Guzman Women's 46kg Momenzadeh b. Tan Sim b. Khantikulanon and guess what? Korea have already 2 athletes out of 2 in the Gold Medal match...

  25. tbh, I see quite an amateurish organization in this first day of the champs...they're always outside the schedule, there are a lot of technical problems and I don't even want to mention the bad coverage in terms of results recap, poor picture quality and many other minor details between the WT website and the YT streams... and, icing on the cake, the awful results of the Italian athletes... I'm just asking myself why am I following this thing?
