  1. really? to me it was the most shameful race of the year (youth and junior competitions included) in terms of judging...
  2. unbelievable and shameful political decision...he was a locked silver medallist, but someone decided that he shouldn't get what he deserved... if he was to be given a single penalty, Karlstrom and Mizinov should have DQed even before they started the competition...
  3. they would get a direct red card (the president of the jury can watch the replays and give that sanction, if needed)...it already happened a few times, especially in some races gone down to the sprint finish...
  4. please, stop now! p.s. you should really consider some Geography recovery class...
  5. Kalusha Bwalya and the Italian football fans definitely disagree... and why should the poor Zambians be from a non-existing Country? maybe you're messing it up with another territory...because Zambia is a Nation... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zambia
  6. well, once every while he gets one right...
  7. probably the tailor didn't have any yellow left in the store...
  8. well, Michael Johnson being the lead opinionist, did you expect anything different than "a US guy is the main favourite"?
  9. Farah was born in Somalia, not Sudan...
  10. and it's Gold for Barshim!!!!
  11. Akimenko out... one more jump before the Home Nation's triumph...
  12. Ivanyuk also failed for the 2nd time at 2.37...
  13. Nadasekau out... Akimenko 2nd missed jump at 2.37... Barshim's Gold medal looks closer...
  14. the 2019 world siver medallist in the men's 3000m steeplechase...
  15. what a finish in the men's steeplechase and Kipruto finally saved his ass...still Gold for Kenia in this race...
  16. sadly, not yet..Akimenko also did it and therefore he's ahead on countback... and Ivanyuk is over 2.35, too
  17. if somehow they find a way to save the US men's 4*100m relay's ass, it's a scandal...their last handover was meters outside the zone... in the meantime, once Tamberi went out, Italian tv commentators are talking of the men's high jump final as if they were attending to a funeral...low voice and sad tone...except right now for the 2.35 by Barshim (they're clearly routing for him now)...
  18. results not as good as they might look at a first view for Italy... Luigi Busà, in fact, wasted a big chance to make the final, perpetuating the Italian jinx against the Kazakh fighters (also his sister Lorena lost to Serikova in the repechage round of the women's -55kg)... meanwhile Angelo Crescenzo lost to Pavlov underperforming once again against people he should beat blindfolded...and to increase the size of this disaster, Samdan is again in the big final, which he's going to win easily... at this pace, soon the Turkish guy will overtake Crescenzo in the OQR and Italy will lose one of their spot at the Olympics (and one of the few medal chances we have), as Assadilov is also among the safe top 3 round after round and keeps his advantage over the Italian in the OQR... finally, in the women's -55kg, Sara Cardin's struggle continues...since her injury of last year, she's not anymore the same "machine" she used to be...and it's unlikely that she will be able to qualify at the final tournament if she does not find her old shape and skills...
