  1. wow! sidorova's vault at 4.85 looked like more than 5m...
  2. it's Vazquez style...he always runs that way...very entertaining, even if always very risky...
  3. I'm watching 3 things at the same time...I'm not so focused (and having athletics in Italian, it's the last one to watch, as I can hear the commentary better)...
  4. I'm pretty sure he wanted to embelish the story...all vaulters have a full set of strictly personal poles...
  5. it's not borrowed...all vaulters have more than one (probably she used the one calibrated for a higher mark)...
  6. Zhuk has gone, now... 6 girls still in the game...
  7. no, it's 6 plus Zhuk... Bengtsson this time cleared 4.70...
  8. welcome to the club... and soon it will get worse...Qatar, Bahrein and a few more Countries will give you the same feeling...
  9. Bengtsson she broke her pole and took quite a scare...luckily she's OK...
  10. in Poand they have the World Champs... it's not the same in all Countries... p.s. and with a vpn, you can have access to Polish (or any other version you might prefer) Eurosport even if you are watching from another Country...
  11. more than in the men's events... women's boxing is plagued by awful refereeing and judging (not always because of they are biased and/or corrupted, sometimes they are just bad, really bad...the discard of the men's activity...and I said it all)...
  12. I turned my tv on Sport2 just after the end of the Cycling race and when I saw the score (they were already 6-0 up), I thought about you... now I'm watching Michalovce giving Slovan quite a scare... but it's only because I'm waiting for the NHL Global Series game in Berlin...finally, the NHL is (almost) back!
  13. they know it very well...it's only that they use political criteria to manage their job (like in boxing)... you're never gonna see some Damilano family protected to be DSQ, for instance (and at the moment, Damilano family protected means Chinese)...
  14. if your idea of "healthy" is being as skinny (anorexic/bulimic in some cases) as long distance runners/road cyclists and any other endurance sport or stuffed with steroids/artificial hormons and other devilish medicines like sprinters or weightlifters or any other sport that requires a bit of power and strenght... well, I take as a better role model those "morbidly obese" people all of my life... p.s. you look at the half empty glass (and being racist, because this is a form of racism as well)...just change for a while your perspective...think about how much they can do for all those people who are heavily depressed and unhappy because they are discriminated just for their size/aspect... kids should learn education and respect, not only "healthy" habits when it comes lunch/dinner time...
  15. no, the NOCs have a well defined (and short) timeline to announce their decisions...I don't see why we shouldn't know that as soon as it happens...
  16. men's K1 Olympic Quota places should go to: * * if he's becoming eligible for the OG in time...otherwise the next in line is
  17. and De Gennaro bombs out once again (actually, he's been quite unlucky...he's out of the final only because of the slightest of touches at that fuc*in' gate #22, which is killing a lot of paddlers in today's semifinals...
  18. second Olympic quota of the day for Italy no matter how De Gennaro goes, Marcello Beda's performance is good enough to qualify our team to the Games in men's K1 (even if overall he and Ivaldi both had terrible runs with too many mistakes -and not paddling that quick, too)...
  19. if I remember correctly, the NOCs have 2 weeks to take their decisions... now, it will be interesting to see who's going to reject the K1 quota and who's going to reject the C1 quota... for sure, and don't have any particular interest in choosing one discipline or another... and probably have more chances to earn another quota place in C1, which would suggest they are going to keep the K1 quota, but actually Satila and Leibfarth are the only really good paddlers they have, so they could even opt to reject any other option and keep just 1 random quota and have those girls double starting at the next Olympics... and also Australia now is in a difficult position, as Jess Fox doesn't have any margin to bring her sister together with her to the Games...and if she takes the K1 quota, Lawrence is going to qualify directly here at thos world championship...meanwhile if she keeps the C1 quota, she would be the lone Australian qualified and keep a chance to double start in Tokyo (even if there's always a chance that Lawrence is going to take the continental spot in the other discipline...this depends really on the Australian NOC, as they could not send anybody to the continental qualifier)... I'm really curious to see what AUS are gonna do...
  20. well, it's not simple as it might look... despite all the fuc*in' bullshit most "doctors" and "scientist" say, there are quite a few people struggling with their size not because they spend all day eating sh*t or because of their "wrong habits", but because they have hormonal and/or genetic disfunctions... and you can do all the physical activity and the diet you want, but if you have those kind of problems, you'll never win the fight against your weight in excess...never...there's no medicine for that right now, just as for some forms of cancer...
  21. yeah, that's the drama of all of us, big men and women... sometimes you would only like to have a good laugh at this condition, but most likely you are just not in the mood because of all bullying and discrimination you've suffered through your life... not an easy situation, whatever side of the medal you look at...
  22. Italian Raisport+ HD also are showing the entire race...
