  1. don't worry guys... Italy will never allow Slovakia to win today's game...surely they won't play as hard as if it was a decisive game and most likely we will rest our best girls not to risk any injury, but they will win by some margin in any case... and if there's some justice up in the sky (I highly doubt, but never say never...), on Saturday Italy and Greece would eventually qualify to the Games at the expense of the unsportsmanlike behaviour of HUN and NED...
  2. not exactly...they still have the medal session as TBD (and no distribution of the races) on that document...
  3. yes, sir... I agree...but unfortunately it's quite common in team sports (also FIFA and UEFA have different tie-breaking criteria, for instance)...
  4. European Champs are managed by LEN, this tournament by FINA... different federations, different rules...
  5. no, we are not in control, because results against last placed teams are not counted...basically it's only about how many goals the Dutch are going to score against France... and since HUN vs GRE is played before NED vs FRA, the Dutch girls are fully in control of what's gonna happen in the playoffs...
  6. this event has penalty-shootout only in direct elimination matches... in group stages the draw is accepted as the final score of a game...
  7. sorry, I thought they wouldn't block this event...however, as I wrote before, a free proxy like Hola normally unblocks all raiplay programs with no problem...
  8. the schedule of events should be the same of the regular world cup stages, with all the prelims on Friday, semis and finals of the 1500m and quarters, semis and finals of the 500m on Saturday (+ the relays semis) and the 1000m quarters, semis and finals + the relays finals on Sunday (I think this should be the first event without the 3000m super-Final, but I'm not sure at 100%)... right now, there's no chance to find more detailed infos...
  9. still, as exciting as a visit to the dentist...
  10. Italian media are sure that Hungary is going to "choose" Italy as their semifinal opponent in any case... should we upset the Dutch girls, then they think HUN would lose on purpose against GRE to face ITA and not NED in the decisive semifinal match...
  11. you have to tune in at game time to see if it works or not... right now they're showing some Football, so it's quite obvious that's geoblocked... Waterpolo could be free, just check at 6 p.m.
  12. @heywoodu and everybody interested... Italy vs Netherlands, live today at 6 p.m. CET (it should work also outside Italy, in any case a basic free proxy like Hola should do the job if it's not completely free in your Country)... https://www.raiplay.it/dirette/raisportpiuhd
  13. Friday, qualifications start at 10 a.m. Saturday, Ranking Finals at 11.30 a.m. and Medal Session at 1 p.m. Sunday, Ranking Finals at 11.45 a.m. and Medal Session at 1 p.m. all times C.E.T. all 3 days will be streamed on Youtube (not sure if in the Netherlands it will be geoblocked or not because of NOS rights)... https://www.youtube.com/user/SkatingISU
  14. oh, c'mon! how can FIS let this course host a world cup race... it's just a 20 secs straight...no turns, no technical passages, no real jumps...basically it's only start & finish...
  15. no real need for that...raisport is covering all the games of Italy, HUN vs GRE, 2 quarterfinals and at least 1 semifinal match (but there's a chance they show also the 1st semi on another channel like Rai2, if Italy play at 6 p.m. on Saturday)...
  16. yeah, I saw the end of that game live... but I've seen too many of those late goals to be really impressed...
  17. the curse is over...at the 9th attempt, Geisenberger is back on top of the podium...
  18. just a bit over 2 hours to go! here are the rosters for the opening game of each team... https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-opening-night-rosters-for-2020-21-season/c-320209828
  19. as there's a precise number of slots available (8 relays, 32 skaters in 500m and 1000m and 36 in the 1500m), in short track it's not about times, it's about qualifying by being part of a relay that makes it through and/or finishing high in the world cup standings (only in those events listed as olympic qualifiers, though)...
  20. just to dot the I's sorry, I couldn't stop myself...
  21. but this is already the last edition of the Summer Olympics... or do you dare to still name "Olympic" that farce in 2024 with breakdance, canoe extreme, the 35km team race walk and all the other "artistic", urban and youth sh*t they enforced instead of throwing it out... so, how could the ioc reputation be worse than what already is?
  22. only in Sigulda... don't worry...next time we'll be back to our usual business...
  23. not sure Burkina Faso is in that list? if they are, Fabrice Zango is the most likely to win a medal (athletics, men's triple jump)...
  24. by the way, Italy b. Spain 9-8 and earned the last spot available for the World Final... in the gold medal match, instead, Greece destroyed Montenegro 12-7...
  25. yeah, I confirm...it was geoblocked all 3 days on M4...but however it works even with a free proxy like hola, so, it's never a big problem
