  1. I'm definitely not a brave man, but tbh, given how "good" are the French secret services, I wouldn't go to that Ceremony even if they paid me millions...
  2. we have to wait for the June 28th deadline, when ISSF will end all of their reallocation process once that's over, they will make the official announcement and we'll have the complete view of the Olympic competitions for the single names, instead, the final deadline is July, 8th
  3. I think our site is not updated with the latest rejected and reallocated places
  4. no, if they do like wrestling, the June 23rd ranking is locked and all qualifiers through that day won't change anymore they will just replace the rejected Russians with the next player in line in the WR without any consideration for the Continental quota places
  5. I don't think it works that way...reallocations will be done after the qualification is closed, those who are qualified now won't be involved in any reallocation procedure
  6. my picks... women: men: I hope to be wrong... I'd prefer or to win among the men and, of course, among the women...vamos Leonas!
  7. and I expect those morons to put all the big matches in group B at 9 a.m.
  8. actually, I think it makes it easier for the best legs to make the difference... I guess a Pogi vs MVDP head to head duel it's easier to develop in this context rather than with 12-man teams, especially if the course/weather are not so tough
  9. I already wrote that in the "King of the Pool" thread I expect Ceccon to dominate the backstroke events (100 + 200m), then "minor" medals from Martinenghi (100m breaststroke), Quadarella (1500m free, but I not exclude also the 800m free, even if it's gonna be very difficult) and possibly the men's 4*100m free relay and then I hope (but I'm not so confident) that Paltrinieri gets a medal in the 1500m free (meanwhile I expect him to win Gold in the 10km Open water) and the men's 4*100m medley relay pulls out a miracle for bronze then, I expect some decent placings in the final (but not medals) from Razzetti (all of his races), Viberti (100m breaststroke), the mixed medley relay, Deplano (50m free), Miressi (100m free), the men's 4*200m free, the women's 4*100m free, Pilato (100m breaststroke) and Franceschi (at least the 400m IM, the 200m IM are definitely more a hope than a prediction) finally, the only "out of order" prediction I like to do is Ragaini in the final (swimming 1.44) of the 200m free

  12. really? I thought it was 8, like at the world champs however, it might be even worse, as we could pick someone very strong (like or ) already in the first round and miss out on the repechage bracket probably, it would be better the 8-seed bracket...no chance to go beyond the quarterfinals, but at least the repechage round would be almost safe (unless pickin' in round #1, but that would mean we're extremely unlucky )
  13. and here we go with the fuc*in' 8th seed in the team event which means having the bracket closed at quarterfinal stage by and a very complicated repechage/Bronze medal game route, too
  14. I think is going to win both (actually, all 3) team events among the men, I voted Nespoli, but it's more hope than actual belief among the women, I voted Yang, but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the 2 youngsters comes home with the individual Gold medal
  15. take notice...here I tell you... Prudence Sekgodiso ain't gonna happen...but if it happens

  19. I do really hope that some day they realize that they should get rid of those interviews right after the end of a race...99.99% of times they're just senseless, even annoying
