  1. the official Olympic Channel webpage has it written: from quarterfinals on, there will be TV/streaming coverage I hope they didn't sell what isn't in their wallet p.s. last time, they broadcasted all of the qualification tournaments in their entirety...I don't know why this time they can't do it?
  2. if they're on time, Today's Finals should start @ 3.15 p.m. CET (women) and 4.15 CET (men) and are available live and ondemand on Youtube women men
  3. of course, that's not a detailed prediction I just wrote that the results from this championships are realistic, especially in the big boats, but things can always change one year from another (injuries, poor shape, personal troubles...life is hard sometimes), nothing is written in stone
  4. the sius site is a live scoring (even if it doesn't allow to follow a specific shooter in detail)
  5. in the men's Individual Skeet, instead, Erik Watndal*, Charalambos Chalkiadakis and Tammaro Cassandro (all of them with a score of 124/125) are safe into the Final, meanwhile there are 9 more shooters are tied at 123/125 and will have to fight in a monster shoot-off for the remaining 3 places into the decisive act. shooters going to the shoot-off Jesper Hansen* Kacper Jerzy Baksalary Dainis Upelnieks Marlon Attard Gabriele Rossetti Mikola Milchev Vincent Haaga Ben Llewellin Mitchell Brooker-Smith *already have their own OQP
  6. Danka Bartekova (123 Amber Jo Rutter (122) Diana Bacosi (121) Martina Bartolomei (121) Nele Wissmer (121) Monika Stibrava (120) are the 6 finalists in the women's Individual Skeet Bartekova, Rutter, Bacosi and Bartolomei already have their own OQP Stibrava doesn't, but already have 2, therefore Nele Wissmer gets the only available Olympic Quota Place awarded Today
  7. in the men's event, after 4 out of 5 qualification series, there are 7 shooters with 99/100 and a lot more with 98/100 it's gonna be tight, actually, a mess, as usual
  8. Time for the first 2 Finals at the 2023 ECHs Today the men and women's Individual Skeet medals will be awarded and also 1 Olympic Quota Place will be given in any of the 2 events right now, the last series in the women's competition is underway and it looks that Nele Wissmer might be the only girl yet without the OQP reaching the Final, which would give her the OQP even before shooting the last targets so far, Danka Bartekova (123), Amber Jo Rutter (122), Diana Bacosi (121), Martina Bartolomei (121) and Nele Wissmer (121) should be safe in the final a monster shoot-off might happen with a lot of shooters tied at 120, but we have to wait the end of the last qualification series to confirm that
  9. not that it changes a lot, but Bacico's best in the men's 100m back at the world juniors was 53.90 in the opening leg of the men's 4*100m medley relay
  10. it might be deceiving, because at the Olympic qualifying world champs some Nations might tend to spread their best rowers to get as many passes as they can, meanwhile, come the Olympics they could choose to bet on just 2/3 boats and concentrate all of their talent on those in general, all the best athletes were there this week (maybe except for a few injured rowers) and the scale of strenght is quite realistic between here and there (in Paris, I mean), but with the chance of reshuffling all the people on different boats, it's always possible that a few races (especially the 2-man/woman boats...in singles normally only the specialists take a seat, it's difficult to take a man/woman off the multi-rower boats and chage him/her into a contender in the lone seat) will change their favourites' field in 12 months in the bigger boats, it's very unlikely to see any big change...those who shined in Belgrade will also be the ones to beat in Paris
  11. the CHL now takes a break and will be back on October, 10th see ya!
  12. @hckošice just a nightmerish CHL for your team so far today, another bitter loss in Switzerland
  13. Regular Season Day 4, Part 2 Sunday 10.09.2023 - Provisional Standings https://www.championshockeyleague.com/en/standings#select_standings=0&tab_standings=regular-season
  14. Regular Season Day 4, Part 2 Sunday 10.09.2023 - Results 15:00 Pelicans Lahti (FIN) - Oceláři Třinec (CZE) 1-3 (0-0, 0-3, 1-0) 15:00 Ilves Tampere (FIN) - Vìtkovice Ridera (CZE) 3-2 SO (0-2, 2-0, 0-0, 0-0, 1-0) 15:00 Lukko Rauma (FIN) - Adler Mannheim (GER) 0-6 (0-3, 0-0, 0-3) 15:30 Växjö Lakers (SWE) - EHC Biel-Bienne (SUI) 4-0 (2-0, 1-0, 1-0) 15:45 Rapperswil-Jona Lakers (SUI) - HC Košice (SVK) 5-2 (1-0, 2-1, 2-1) 16:30 Red Bull Munich (GER) - HC Innsbruck (AUT) 9-2 (3-1, 3-1, 3-0) 19:00 Färjestad BK Karlstad (SWE) - Aalborg Pirates (DEN) 8-0 (4-0, 0-0, 4-0)
  15. I hope, but I don't have the same feeling right now...
  16. I don't agree at all...3 medals (and at least 3 more OQPs) would have been the bare minimum (the men's double sculls out of the podium is really a big disappointment, even if Sartori deserves a better teammate than Rambaldi) in Lucerne we MUST add the men's Fours and the men's Singles (and it must be Di Mauro, who's our biggest talent right now, the only one who can dream big in that discipline...stop sending 2nd and 3rd tier rowers in the 1X and stop with that fuckin' idea of building an Eight that will never be capable of competing for the medals) and hopefully, in Paris it would be great having Lodo and Vicino back on the men's Pairs...for what I've seen this week, if they get back to their best shape (big "if", though), it's an easy gold (unless the Sinkovich bros also get back to this discipline, as on the double sculls they don't stand a chance against the Dutch duo) for what concerns the women's LW 2X, now we're gonna have a lot of problems, as we are stuck to the declining duo Rodini and Cesarini for both the qualifiers and the OGs themselves because our no.2 crew in that class has now qualified in the senior 2X and can't be used in Lucerne a trip to Lourdes might be an option for them, now
  17. bad for the Italian Olympic medal table (especially all those Dutch Gold medals)...but I'm just joking with our Dutch friends... it would be bad for the sport if there was only 1 Country winning all the gold medals, but this outcome is perfectly acceptable, with 3 dominant Countries and many others on the medal table (I'd only like to see also an African Country among the medallists, but you can't have it all) the only real bad thing is the Italian flop (from my very own perspective, of course)
  18. as if that was somehow a good thing it will only help our coaches and officials to sell this championship as successful, when instead it's the lowest point ever of our (Olympic) rowing and they should all resign (or being kicked out, but that's impossible, unless they break any law)
  19. Olympic Events Medal Table 5 / 3 / 0 4 / 1 / 1 2 / 1 / 2 1 / 1 / 0 1 / 0 / 2 1 / 0 / 0 0 / 3 / 1 0 / 1 / 3 0 / 1 / 2 0 / 1 / 1 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 0 / 1 0 / 0 / 1 have to repeat myself...this domination by and doesn't look good (once again, sorry my friends ) however, the disaster does look even worse
  20. and now we also recorded the worst disappointment among the few boats that at least qualified to the Games so, we finish this championship with 4 OQP and 2 medals (no gold)...worse than the most pessimistic preview
  21. I fear that the Moroccan delegation will be heavily affected by the earthquake that caused so many deaths and damages in their Country I wouldn't even say that their losses are a big upset, given the situation they live right now
  22. and here we go! just another boat missing the Olympic qualification this time it's the men's single bravi! well done, guys! perfect choice, great result!
  23. now I'm really curious to see what happens at the next Asian Games (especially considering that many people already posted some scary (suspicious) results earlier in the year at the Asian Champs I fear that some Asian guys still have some fine tuning to do and are not at 100% here in Saudi Arabia
  24. a true poet among us
  25. I still think it all depends on how Vargas wakes up if she comes down the bed with the wrong foot, there's no Santarelli or Karakurt or Gunes that can save them from a bad loss
