  1. What a disgrace for tennis with today's attitude by Williams and the spectators afterwards. This match should have been ended by the moment she started harassing the umpire.
  2. A pity indeed. She loses a match where she had won more points than the opponent, broke serve 3 times and then allowed to be broken back. Finally, she completely lost it in the tie break. I was hoping for her to progress further but obviously she does not have the mental strength to win these big matches. P.S. Vondrousova plays even more aggressive tennis than Serena and Sharapova. She is a potential top 10 player within 2 years time with the current quality of tennis on the tour
  3. For those who collect anthems of World Championships/Olympic games, this is the official anthem of the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics world championships in Sofia
  4. Johnson needs a miracle against Thiem in the last set. The Austrian is on fire.
  5. And a minute after your message Kubler retires against Fritz
  6. That was some drama between Georges and Makarova in set 1. I wonder if the German will bend in set 2...
  7. What about Sasha Zverev? I know he sucks at GSs but you never know when he might actually make the magic happen.
  8. I meant in terms of seeding and results on hard Masters this year. I think Thiem will not be that big of a surprise either if he loses to Johnson. Just look at his hard court achievements this year.
  9. Tsitsipas is about to be eliminated. First big casualty of the day maybe.
  10. And on the bagel topic, Humbert's coach Champion seems to be the last tennis player to be on the receiving end of triple bagels at a Grand Slam during the 1993 Roland Garros
  11. Strycova on the way to double bagle Arruabarrena.
  12. I would say 6 too (after edit). The tough ones survived the first round.
  13. With the heat on and so many players retiring, any result won't be a surprise today
  14. Cilic
  15. She is doing great both at the net and the baseline. Pleasure to watch.
  16. Kvitova's shoulder issues will probably have big effect on her first round match. Her serve is terrible. Two double faults in a row.
  17. Pavlychenkova out too and this part of the draw is Serena's to lose
  18. Wawrinka not looking good after the medical treatment. He seems to have lost a lot of his court movement.
  19. Also Lorenzi close to upset Edmund... I have always considered him as a clay court player only but he proves me wrong every time at slams.
  20. Elise Mertens in trouble... She is a strong slam competitor this year. I hope she can turn things around.
  21. Svitolina will survive. Now I guess it's time for the first of the men's seeds to drop out. I cannot see Dimitrov winning this matchup...
  22. The spectators have gone mad shouting Simona. What an opener...
  23. Halep struggling again in the opener. Chances to go home after round 1 for a second year in a row increase by the minute. Kanepi seems very solid on return.
  24. Polansky makes a LL Grand Slam https://twitter.com/PPolansky/status/1033119555999158277
