But again there was some rotten luck involved. Out of 25 teams, Ireland was drawn 1st in first round and 2nd in second round! Incredible! A huge disadvantage to go before having any idea how the course is riding... Cian and Sweetnam are good, but yeah, Paul and the other Shane were out of place here.

Top 50 individuals qualify with no restrictions (at this stage). Also all team members from top 10 teams who are not top 50 individually will advance. So it should be something like 50-60 advancing in total.

It's likely improbable, as it looks like only 4 Group C nations can qualify overall (unless Israel makes something big here, what would open up a chance for 5th Group C nation).

Well, the level is definitely improving, in large part due to Samorin venue. And indeed, finishing in top 50 in this 124-horses World championships would be huge.

On days like this I can be really happy that there's no Croatia in show jumping world. It's a massacre day for every team (minus Germany).

Mexico won't do a clear either. It's astonishing to think that this team won the huge Nations Cup in Dublin. Things like that just don't happen.

Sternlicht delivers a random clear. Random clears = reason she is in the team. She won't keep this up over the course of the week.
