  1. Some American hype about yesterday's scores. If it had been a team competition, USA would have defeated Germany. https://dressage-news.com/2019/04/06/usa-vs-germany-if-world-cup-grand-prix-had-been-nations-cup/
  2. And what happens if there is more than one per nation? We assume that everyone is cheering for nations, and not the athletes?
  3. Rosemarie Springer, one of the older Olympians, passed away at 98.
  4. Staut, Carrasco, Alves withdrew from the final round. Therefore a total of 25 riders will move forward.
  5. Only 50. 100-200-400 are way too prestigious. Plus, timewise 50-100-200-400 in swimming is less similar than 100-200-400-800 in athletics...
  6. Swimming in white water (canoe slalom course). More use for the expensive venue.
  7. Both days so far had 1st and 2nd place divided by 0.03 seconds. Edu leads going into the final day. Skrzyczynski 4th today, he moves into 8th overall! World Cup Final, Round 2 Peder Fredricson (Catch Me Not) - 0/0/37.94 Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot) - 0/0/37.97 Max Kuehner (Chardonnay) - 0/0/39.44 Full results... Standings after Round 2
  8. 7.54 m + 12.11 m mixed super sprint backstroke/breaststroke
  9. What the hell, nobody from yesterday's top 5 jumped clear today! This could be an epic chance for Edu Alvarez. 6th yesterday, he is the highest placed athlete who made the jump-off.
  10. Belgians follow-up a near perfect day with a day full of misery. Feels like I've seen that once or twice over the years.
  11. And what about cycling? It's all the same but from different angles.
  12. Grand Prix Results Isabell Werth (Weihegold OLD) - 81.755% Laura Graves (Verdades) - 80.109% Daniel Bachmann Andersen (Blue Hors Zack) - 78.152% Full results... Looks like we may have yet another Werth vs Graves showdown for the title tomorrow. DBA is the best of the rest, with a personal best, but Perry-Glass, Langehanenberg and Kittel are pretty close. Podium for Denmark would be grand though.
  13. Kasey Perry-Glass leads the way at the half way point with 77%.
  14. Cool, Belarusians are no longer embarassing themselves when they appear at the top competitions.
  15. Big spook for JP in collected walk. I thought he outgrew that. Just under 70% for Reynolds. Low score of the season.
  16. Yes, it's probably some Sindo's new anti-adblock extension which destroys the interface of the users who happen to dislike ads.
  17. Right. Canadian A team struggles to win a medal these days. Do you really think any given Dutch Canadians could displace van Doorp just like that?
  18. Meh, Steve Guerdat took it right at the end. I hoped to see a Belgian sweep just for the heck of it (and to make @heywoodu jealous). Round 1 Results Standings after Round 1
