  1. FEI published the list of MER events for 2020. Dressage Eventing (to come) Jumping How nice, Brazilian federation remembered to organize no less than 3 dressage events this time!
  2. Louisdor Preis - Short Grand Prix Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (Ferdinand BB) - 76.488% Kira Wulferding (Soiree d'Amour) - 73.674% Lena Waldmann (Fiderdance) - 73.395% And Total Hope from yesterday...
  3. After Day 4... Men's 470 26 27 54 81 Women's 470 38 45 58 Very productive day for Thailand! Singapore cut some gap to Malaysia too.
  4. Apparently may withdraw due to lack of funds.
  5. Probably nothing can be done without some hard off-competition evidence (which I have no doubt exist). The sadest part is that probably all of this will be for nothing, as both Austria and France will likely go through anyway. Nevertheless there are people (Saleh, Umbach) ready to make complete mockery of their own profession, just to help some terrible mediocrity that is French dressage team. Ugh.
  6. Umbach must be on a nice French payroll. He was already ridiculous in Madrid, and now again in Frankfurt. I just can't stand these complecent cheaters anymore.
  7. Piggy French dropped a bomb today by announcing that Quarrycrest Echo, a real stalwart of British eventing team, has been sold to Japan. Deadline for horse transfer is January 15th. Horses that change nationality after that will not be eligible to compete in Tokyo.
  8. Actually, no. Most people are not aware that their location is being used to generate this, even if they have technically consented to it when buying the device. At college we have covered this topic quite thoroughly. Basically every gadget has GPS tracker these days, so there is no running away from it (unless you get yourself a jammer or similar (illegal) device).
  9. How is this news exactly? What do you think, how these red and orange bars get generated, if not with location tracking? It's a form of passive crowdsourcing.
  10. Once upon a time I wanted to open "Random confessions thread". This would be perfect material for it.
  11. Also 3 m platform. There is a pattern going on there.
  12. Maha Gouda nevertheless qualified in women's 10 m platform.
  13. Oh, right... Who the hell posts results like this though?
  14. So... Men's 3 m springboard - Mohab Ishak Men's 10 m platform - Youssef Selim Women's 3 m springboard - Micaela Bouter Women's 10 m platform - Maha Gouda
  15. Can you find any news on African qualifier? @thepharoah @sami-eg
  16. Because OLD stands for Oldenburg breed. By the way, Total Hope is a son of Totilas (as you may have gathered by the name).
  17. Internationales Festhallen Reitturnier (Frankfurt)... Nurnberger Burg-Pokal - St. Georg Special Isabel Freese (Total Hope OLD) - 77.610% Kira Wulferding (Bonita Springs) - 76.293% Lena Waldmann (Cadeau Noir) - 75.854% Louisdor Preis starts tomorrow with Grand Prix... And in case you are wondering what the hell are Nurnberger Burg-Pokal and Louisdor Preis? They represent annual championships for developing horses in Germany, and pretty much the reason behind German dressage domination.
  18. Olympic qualification standings after Day 3... Men's 470 12 20 37 56 Women's 470 18 30 34 It's already pretty much a done deal. Only a slight chance for Thai men.
  19. Apparently Micaela Bouter won the women's 3 m springboard event.
  20. African Diving Qualifier was supposed to end in Durban today. But there is no info whatesoever about it, not even on the SA Swimming Federation Facebook page.
  21. Yeah, poor Lisa Carlsen didn't have the greatest championship comeback (first since Seoul 1988). Her score was the one you get for elimination in speed competition (worst finishing score + 20 penalties).
  22. Maybe this is not over. I wonder what happens if FEI was to hasty in awarding the spot to Argentina? In any case, Canada will be taking this to CAS...
